Well, the series started off as a parody of fantasy novels, but now it's kind of like a parody of everything, lol.Very funny stuff.
Went to Half Price Books over the weekend and picked up:Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty
Night Watch by Terry Pratchett
Monstrous Regiment by Terry Pratchett
Making Money by Terry Pratchett
Stardust by Neil Gaiman
I really, really love the Discworld series, lol.
Haha, my boyfriend is reading In the Woods now, and I kinda ruined the ending for him in the same way.

I think the worst part is ending a really good book, and then trying to find another that lives up to that books standards. It always takes me a while to find a really satisfying read after finishing something great.
We do all of our grades electronically. Actually, we do pretty much everything electronically. I hate it.
Haha, that sounds terrible. I'm sorry. We've just been doing a lot of practice theses and discussing everything to death. Most days I just bring a book and read it under my desk, ha.
Lori wrote: "It was required for getting an English major otherwise I wouldn't have decided to take it. I'm so grateful that it hasn't ruined my ability to read for pleasure."Same here. :( It's been rotten so far. Especially the book we have to read for it. The professor doesn't do too much to try to add any excitement to the subject matter, either.
Oh, literary criticism is terrible. I'm taking a class on it this quarter. Ugh. I have a paper due Wednesday, too...
I was disappointed with the ending, too.I wonder if The Likeness picks up where that one leaves off...? I'll have to buy a copy.
In the Woods is fantastic. I read it over the summer last year, and I finished the whole thing in about a day, I just couldn't put it down. I hear there's a sequel, but I'm not sure what it's called.Does anybody know?
I really want to read The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society... It was recommended to me by my boyfriend's mom, haha. And Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil is really good. I loved it. Haven't read his newer book, though.

This is so true.
