I have to be honest. I just don't get poetry. It frustrates me..and I hate dissecting their meaning. I remember reading it in class and then the class would start discussing what it meant and I was like..What?? Where did he say that??

I read this as a young girl as well. I remember loving Jo and I remember being soo sad when Beth died. I also loved the character of Marmee. She sounded like such a wonderful, patient Mother.

I feel like I am being slammed with work right now..anybody else?

I have a stupid group project to do and I hate it! I also have a research paper and a book report. blah blah blahhh.

I have this new gross habit of leaving my dishes around in random places..gross i know!

Especially in light of swine flu..and plenty of other sicknesses that go around dorms..treat yourself well. Clean regularly..disinfect..try to not drink/eat from people alot..wash your hands..eat healthy..(lots of fruit)..sleep regularly so your immune system isn't weakened. Exercise to help keep your body healthy and not as susceptible to being sick.

I like the love story within The Time Traveler's Wife. Great love story. I'm sure Gone With The Wind is a very class, all time love story.

I find something about love stories in books so much more powerful than in movies.

I haven't been reading much lately and I hate it! You all are making me very jealous!

It's just a would you rather game..it's not like your answer has any bearing on real life. I understand that it's a serious subject and could be a touchy one at that. But I'm sure Roisu did not intend for it to upset you or anyone..

I thought the question was hard to answer but did not find it offensive. But to answer the question..and to move ON about it..

It's soo hard to answer..because both were HORRIBLE people..and ruthless and brutal. There has been soo many debates on which was worth..as I have researched for this question. I was going to go with whatever one killed less..but it all depends on who you ask..some say Hitler was way worse and some say Stalin made Hitler look like a rookie.

Anyways my answer is Stalin..because apparently..from what I've read..he died in alot of pain and didn't receive medical help..(Hilter committed suicide)....I say this because if I was ever this horrible of a person..I'd deserve to die a painful death.

Sara: I do agree with you..sometimes it's easy to feel as though you are jumping in the middle of a conversation in a particular thread. I used to be afraid to do that..but this group is so open that I don't mind. But I definitely won't do that in other groups on here.

And like most of you said..sometimes you just really DON'T have anything new to add to the topic.
