Since alot of us couldn't participate do you think that you all could post your mix lists for the rest of us so that we could at least look into the music ourselves? :)
Category 2: The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret AtwoodI've seen this categorized as such on various library lists..so I hope this is ok.
I mostly read in my room but sometimes when it's nice out I'll go to the park and read or something.
Thankfully I have all good classes this semester..last semester I had a load of those types of classes!
I vaguely remember reading this in school. I'll probably end up reading again. I hate when I can't remember a book.
Any suggestions for the non fiction and historical fiction task? What is everyone else using?
Some really fun ideas everyone!! This is going to be a great challenge!!Some other suggestions:
-Support GR authors: Go to explore. Then to authors. and then to Popular authors. Sort by popularity and then pick one of the authors on the list and read a book by them.
-Read a that has a type of drink in the title.
-Read a book about a subject that interests you but you don't know much about (nonfiction)
-In honor of Back to School Shopping, Black Friday, and Christmas shopping, read a book with an article of clothing in the title (hat, dress, shirt, shorts, pants, etc.)
-5 Senses: Read a book that has one of these words in the title: Hear, See, Speak, Smell, Taste ..
- Read a book with one of the four elements in the title: Earth, Wind, Fire, Water
-Read 2 books that have 2 words that are synonyms: for example..reading Little Woman & The God of Small Things
- Read a book that has a human emotion in the title-- mad, sad, anger, fury, etc.
- Read a book about time travel.
- Read a memoir about someone who is around the same age as you (what age they are talking about in the book)
Read 2 book that have 2 words that rhyme in them. For instance,
The SUN also Rises & The GUN Seller.
Read a book with your favorite color in the title.
Read a book with a number in the title.
I'm SO excited to particiapte in a challenge!
I didn't get to participate in the summer challenge but definitely plan to do this one. i took a look at the summer challenge..and I agree with Tami and other people..I'd like to see it a little longer. Not a huge daunting challenge but one with a ton of variety to fit my mood.
Before college I was a neat freak, NOW I'm a MESS! I also am with Jamie..I eat at the worst times.
