8361 April, I don't remember that part in the story. Maybe I have an abridged version or just skimmed over that part. I am going to re-look at my book now.

I just looked... I don't have that chapter in my version. But it doesn't say that it is abridge.

I feel cheated now.
8361 I just finished read "the Secret Holocaust Diaries" and i am currently reading "Chocolate" and listening to "Thirteen Reasons Why"

8361 I don't think that I would read another book like this if the author wrote it. To me it would be pretty hard to follow. I don't know how she would match the intensity level. Especially is she used Alba. I just assumed that the little girl had a happy ending. It would be really disappointing if she did not.

8361 I cried a lot (which I hate to admit). It normally takes a lot for me to cry in a book.

I think it was medical that was clearly stated in the book. The fact that it was genetic and passed on to his child also points to a medical condition. Besides, if it was psychological Clare would not have remembered him.

8361 I just finished "Uglies" last night and the naming of the towns is one of the issues that I had with the book. I will finish the other ones because its a group read and when I read series I like to know the end.

8361 I just got "Uglies" from the library and I also find some of the vocabulary annoying. Each time I see the word littlies, I flinch. It is so awkward. Why just can't he use the word child or something like that?

8361 No problem. Bookcloseout.com is great. They don't have a wide selection but you can't beat the price. And this month they are having a promo for free shipping on all orders over $35.
