8361 Drew that's awesome. I love the car door thing.

I've started listening to the Hitchhiker's Guide. I finished book 1 last night. Its the version read by the author. I started listening to it on my drive home last time. I kept listening to it when I went to the gym after I got back and I think I might start another one.

8361 I've got a great roommate this year! I love her to death. We haven't hung out in a while, but we've both been really busy and I've been going through a good amount. I am now dating one of her friends (ex-bf) with her blessings and no I would never go near a situation like that with out some extreme situations. He's amazing and she's really happy to see both of us so happy. Its been a little sticky cause I am trying to be respectful, since she is having to readjust her thinking to him being with me.

Otherwise, we have very similar views on basic living situations. We come from very different places in life and enjoy looking at our differences and learning from them. They've caused a few almost bad situations, but we're good about communicating so we're fine.

And I've been ignoring everything here recently because I'm not very good at juggling bf time and being productive during it. He's so damn distracting. I wouldn't be doing okay except he makes me behave myself. One of my goals for this weekend is to figure out how to better balance my time.

8361 I'm waiting till I get down to school to pick up the last of my needs. I might change rooms and roommates, so I don't know what I'll need for my room. My actual school supplies I rarely buy because I usually have so much to pick from already. Its another thing that has to wait until I know the demands from my classes.

I have two horse classes, psychology of human development, intro to public speaking, and ag system technology. I'm excited for the psychology class and the horse classes are always fun. I don't know if I'll like the public speak or the ag systems class. I have a feeling the ag systems is gonna be boring! And the public speaking will be a whatever class. I'm also waiting for the purge date to switch my classes about a bit and get another class in. If I can't I'll look into getting a campus job.

8361 I just watched the new Harry Potter and I wouldn't bother watching it in the movie theater. I know this is good movies, but I had expected this to be great. It was mediocre and very anti-climatic.

*SPOILER if you haven't Read the Books*

And Dumbeldore is dead!!!! YAY!!!! Seriously I almost shouted out for join in the middle of the movie theater when it happened. I loved Dumbledore and almost cried when it happened in the book, but seriously this actor sucks! The worst part is they have another scene with him in the next movie... The man is an atrocious Dumbledore. He twists his lines into a whole new meaning and just lacks that calmness. Ok I'm gonna stop ranting now...

8361 I don't know if telling the boys to be like Edward is right, but I don't think there is anything wrong with expecting boys to act like gentlemen. As a future ag teacher I get the pleasure of ruthlessly convincing the boys in my classes to be correct young gentle men and showing the girls if you actually expect yourself to be treated as a lady that you will be.

Expecting young men to be gentlemen is actually great I think, because it will put an end to a lot of trouble. Its one of those things many people today lack.

8361 I am taking a lighter work load most likely, so I was hoping to get a job. I'm going to look into making it heavier. Its either another class or job. The job will probably be for the university however, so it shouldn't be that bad.

8361 Welcome! And that's what I thought. I really like the Tyra Banks Show.

8361 Lori, thank you. I'm going back to school in a few weeks, so I'm just going to concentrate on getting ready for school and getting my online class done.

8361 Angabel I bet it depends on which you watched first. And even if they don't like it, I think my point that they're two different things stands. I just get annoyed because I adore the movie, but the show just seems a lot like charmed and all and I'm just not into those shows. They're not my cup of tea, while the Buffy movie was perfect. She kicked butt and it all made sense. The characters just seemed better made to me. Plus, there is the hilarious scene when the henchman just won't die.

8361 I just wish they hadn't called Buffy, Buffy. I love the 80's or 90's Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie and grew up on it, so when they created this other thing I was kind of disgusted. It runs along the same premise of Buffy in that she's a vampire slayer, but that is largely where is stops. They should have just gave her a new name I think.

8361 Lori I'm really glad.

Sadly, my procrastinating shouldn't be a problem anymore. I lost my job yesterday. It really stung because I was an excellent worker. We figure it was because I did really well at first and because I got sick I wasn't doing as well anymore so when they were looking to cut down on people they saw me.

But on the plus side I won't have to worry about getting stuff done anymore! I'm already doing a lot better, but it was a really bad slap in the face. Still stinging a bit.

8361 Lori I feel for you. I have a learn anytime class that I still have like seven units to complete and I'm still working on the first one. I just don't ever feel like working on it. Between a full time job and furthering my riding I just don't have a lot of down time. I haven't even been able to read my book that much. *Sighs* I just gotta stop letting myself procrastinate.

Something I saw recently that I just thought of again was a guide to college that said instead of putting off something for tomorrow when you might be able to get the whole thing done; get a little done if its only five minutes done today and keep just giving it five minutes. In the end it will get done a lot quicker with out all the stress.

I know it sounds really obvious, but I think its something that helps to be stated. Here's the link for undergraduates, but there is also a whole slew of things for everyone else from middle school to parents to counselors. I just really liked this site for some reason.

8361 I'm hoping to be able to watch New Moon with someone who isn't looking forward to it so I can thoroughly mock it. I so hope we get some more gold body spray shots!

8361 So long as you are up two hours after you eat you will not gain any wait. Thank you Tyra Banks! I don't think I spelt her name right, but oh well. She did a little program on it where they had a girl try both ways and it turns out if you eat with in two hours of going to sleep you don't burn it; you just store it.

Don't feel bad though. I understand what you mean. I do the same thing.

8361 I don't know if Dracula is neccisary, but then I'm not a huge classics fan. Though I do know I really should read it.

Janet look at my girls-kicking-butt book list, its all basically urban fantasy (Vamps, weres, witches OH MY!). Read my reviews on them too though because I do note which ones are steamy and which ones aren't. She might also try Blood and Chocolate if she hasn't read that or the other vampire book to that little series thing-a-ma-bob. Both are surprisingly good YA series.
