When I was in the UK instead of saying: How are you? They say: Are you allright? I thought there was something wrong with me for the longest time because people kept asking.
One of my favourite psychology classes this semester is Stereotyping, Discrimination, and Prejudice. It is very interesting and it covers so many controversial and conversation starter topics ranging from gay penguins and research showing a relationship between religion and prejudice. One topic we covered in the class was just talking about a time where you were unjustly labelled or discriminated against.
So I was wondering if you guys had any stories that you wanted to share. And this can be about anything, being a vegetarian, sexual orientation, being male or female, the way you dress, even being young or old (These were examples people used in class).
I hate when I am in the library in the quiet zone trying to study and people are whispering. I dont know for what reason but talking would annoy me much less. Loud whispering irritatets me sooooooooooooo much! GAH!
And I also dislike conceited people.
Jamie I had a question. Is it possible to change the play that is on my list to another one? Or do we have to read the books we have already chosen?
Alright so time for a new one
Top 10 Authors (Dead or Alive) that you would like to write a novel/story/play about you:
1. Shakespeare
I like to watch documentaries from a psychological context. One really good documentary I watched is called Thin. It is about the struggle with Anorexia. Another one is called Hoarders. It's about people that hoard everything.I did watch Jesus Camp as well, which I thought was ridiculously odd and interesting.
I just finished Moral Disorder and Other Stories and I am now reading The Zookeeper's Wife A War Story which I am really excited about!!! I love true stories set in WWII. I dont know why,I just find then very interesting.
It starts sooon!!!!! And I am going to start with 5.2 Anything We Love Can Be Saved!!! But First I need to finish The Zookeper's Wife.
