Anyways, like Tami said, it ..."I would say it's science fiction because historical fiction is based around factual past happenings with fictional characters. The fact that it is set in the future makes it sci fi, despite the fact that it deals with the past. Just my opinion :)
anyone else love garfunkle and oates? If you don't know who they are you need to check them out! so funny!
I like to paint, but I'm horrible at it...what else?I make cards sometimes. I also like making collages with photographs...I want to learn how to be a better photographer! I think that's about it for crafts. I feel like i never have time!
London/Paris/Rome looks amazing!! I just wish the trips were longer! I feel like that could easily be a month trip!
I love She & Him!!! and yeah, I agree, I can't afford designer fashion either. That's why I like Zooey's style, it's super wearable and inexpensive. I just wish I had better thrift stores near me!
who else loves Zooey Deschanel's style? I want her to just come to my house every morning a dress me!
just watched this last night. LOVE IT!!!! favorite song: laundry day. have listened to it over and over, love NPH's voice! i just want him to do something on broadway next summer so i can go see him. *sigh*
Hey i added a bunch of people on bookmooch...if you want to add me my username is emily2323. I don't have much inventory right now, but i plan on putting some up soon. What are the pros of pbs over bm btw?

i would like more than five to choose from to send to that person....But i agree with everyone, we can just make a wishlist
Bravo everyone for being nice to each other! Emily, I think you put my beliefs very well into writing! Also one of my frustrations is how often people see the pro-choice/pro-life debate as two opposing sides. when really we all are just trying to do what is best for humankind and just have different opinions of what that is. I think it is essential that everyone understand that pro-choice doesn't mean pro-abortion.
Also i know it has a radically liberal title and even I was a little skeptical of it at first, but i swear it's an amazing book and i can't wait for someone on here to read it so i can discuss it with them! How the Pro-choice Movement Saved America Freedom, Politics, And the War on Sex
p.s: abstinence-only education has been scientifically proven to be wildly unsuccessful. Someone should tell Sarah Palin that....maybe her daughter will ;)
the every other month thing might help there be fewer nominations....also it would be cool if the person suggesting the book say why they are nominating it/what its about. It could help people vote. just a thought.
hmm...I think I'd rather receive something on my to-read list since a lot of them aren't at my library and I've been wanting to read some of them for a while! What do other people think?
Also, do you guys have a lot of books on your to-read list? because it might be sort of difficult if someone is trying to buy a used book and there are only like four to choose from!
Just finished Stolen Innocence My Story of Growing Up in a Polygamous Sect, Becoming a Teenage Bride, and Breaking Free of Warren Jeffsand Three Cups of Tea One Man's Mission to Promote Peace . . . One School at a Time and about to start on Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close...finally!!
Jen wrote: "I was actually thinking of taking a trip with EF College Break. They seem to be the cheapest option since your airfare is also included."yeah that's what I've found. And I know people that have gone with them, so i feel a little better about that. What trips are you looking at?
Okay, along those lines....anyone do any volunteering abroad?? I want to wait until I've traveled a little bit more, but at some point I would love to do volunteer work in Africa!
