8322 people shoould not be concerned about putting chapters on these sites - they will not be detramental to your chances of getting published. treat them as writign groups, where you pick and choose the worthy comments, advice and critiques and amend as you see fit.

Writing in islotion is always tough - you need feedback and interaction to gain confidence and skill as a writer. What i do think people should realise is that these sites are not a short cut to a publishing deal...

8322 Beware of Authonomy - it is more a social networking and marketing beauty parade to get your book noticed and up the rankings. If you want to improve as a writer then cultivating other writers as you would in any other writing group, can make the site worthwhile. personally i think www.youwriteon.com is better for the developing writer. Less slick though.
