77 I just finished "The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao" which is the first book I really haven't cared for in a while.

So, now I'm off in the complete opposite direction reading "Secrets of a Former Fat Girl." It would be a great story for someone just starting out on a fat loss journey. However, since I'm well into mine and have a gym full of extremely helpful staff members, most of the information is old news to me. I am enjoying the authors reflection on her journey though. It reminds me a lot of my own!

77 Oh...have you read "How to Kill a Rockstar?" then? If not you really should, it's fabulous! I keep waiting and waiting for her to write another book. I just really enjoy her characters.

77 Two books I highly recommend are "God Shaped Hole" and "How to Kill a Rockstar" by Tiffani DeBartolo. I just loved the characters in both books and never wanted to put them down!

77 I loved the first two books. So...I really WANTED to love this one, but I didn't. I just never really connected with or cared about the characters. In fact, despite the intriguing premise - the whole story just kind of annoyed me. I picked up Baby Proof for $5 at Borders and even though it's gotten mixed reviews I'll probably still try to read it. Hopefully I'll enjoy it more than LTOYW.
