7238 No, I couldn't find a good one of her.

7238 I just started the Songs of Acadia series and haven't been too glued to it, like I was with the other two (GOSL & Too Long A Stranger), but it is getting more interesting as I go along. :)

7238 I enjoyed the first movie of LCS, but the second one was kinda lame and my sister said they were way off from the story. If my novel is ever turned into a movie (big chuckle here!) than they'll have to stay pretty close to the original!

7238 My mom doesn't want to have us all starry eyed after reading books. That shouldn't be their purpose so she is very strict on what novels we read with romance.

Yes, writing a novel, Melissa... been working on it a lot lately. Need to weed out some of my own romance and then have my mother edited it so we can publish it. I love writing. So much fun, and I enjoy it more than reading, although it does give you an example of good writing. :D

I haven't read that one yet BlueJane, but I'm planning on reading them all....

7238 Ok, which book did you read first?

I think I have picked up the LCS one a few times, but never read it. I think mu first one was the Bluebird and the Sparrow.

7238 LOL! I love the way she writes. I'm working on getting my novel edited so we can get it published... Oke's books were the inspiration for it, although I'm not sure if I write like her. I love the way she really paints the story in your head, without stifling your imagintion.

7238 The thing that I like about Janette Oke is that she doesn't really focus on romance. Actually if there was any more romance in them my Momma wouldn't let me read them. I think that's what about Wick and Lewis I don't like. The Gown of S-Lace might be a good one to start with, but I'm biased. :D

7238 No, I haven't read any of Lori Wick. I'm not sure I like her or Beverly Lewis (I think it is).

7238 I haven't read them all, but I think so far my favourite novel as been the Gown of Spanish Lace. What about you?

Also, if you have a better image for the group, let me know. I wanted one that went with the all the books, but I couldn't find anything.
