mostly i go by recommendations, but if i'm just randomly browsing i'll read the blurbs of covers that catch my eye.
i'm reading milan kundera's the book of laughter and forgetting. i'm not that far through but it's fantastic so far, kundera is definitely one of my favourite authors.
haha, i'm one of the few who doesn't like tim winton. markus zusak and john marsden are amazing. geraldine brooks is pretty good too.
