the Gardella Vampire Chronicles was really really good! I loved them. I can't wait for the next one to come out.
I'm currently reading it. I'm in the middle of the story and so far I really like it. It's a LOOONG book :)
Wow sounds interesting, I'll have to pick that one up!
And don't worry Rachel, that's what we're all her for, ask all the questions you want!!@ :)
Jill- have you read any of the other Kenyon books in the series? Acheron is the newest in the series I think the 1st one is called Fantasy Lover (though the good thing about her books is that they are all different characters so you don't have to read them in order in order to enjoy them) I really liked Dark Side of the Moon and Devil May Cry.
Rachel- What is The Silver Kiss about??
It's kind of like a vampire school where the main character finds she's more than just a vamp, she has special powers that most don't have until full transformation or until their last year.
I wouldn't want to have to destroy myself though if I couldn't handle it anymore you know? The whole do vampires have souls debate would be put into question and have to be considered in the decision.
I really like the House of Night series Erika, it's original and interesting to read. Have you gotten the 4th book that came out on the 23rd?
Well it's easy for a man vampire to bite the chest of a woman. Just nipping the soft part of the breast. (Sorry if that's to graphic for some)
Yes'm!! It's completely different from the Twilight series though so it depends on what you like. But in my opinion it's a great series! :)
The strenghth, speed, charisma, looks, mystery. I would love to travel the world like in Anne Rice's books. Have beauty and powers (I'm not vain I swear) But I would want to be a vampire like in the Kathryn Smith series... They don't need a lot of blood to survive, a vial would last them days and when they drink from their prey, it is a pleasant experience for the human as well, the humans forget what happened, they aren't drained and the vampires lick the wound and it closes up. If there was someone that I deeply loved like in the Twilight series then it would make it that much better. Besides, you get to see the world change and you can take care of generations of your family.
I have actually thought about that and I really don't know. If you have someone you are deeply in love with to share it with or like in Twilight, a family or coven, I think it wouldn't be so bad. Besides, you get to see so much change!! And you have forever to learn whatever you wanted, do every job you've ever wanted, read tonz of books, travel the world, you can even watch over generations of your family and make sure they are safe. I think it would actually be really fun to an extent. I probably would get REALLY bored if I couldn't sleep or sad if I saw people I knew grow old and die. Or if the things that were happening ot the world were too much to handle. Who knows. Maybe if like there was some time limit. (Vampires live 600 years then die) Just an extended life period verses immortality and eternity.
Twilight Series- Stephanie Meyer
House of Night Series- P.C. Cast
Vampire Diaries- L.J. Smith
Kathryn Smith's vampire series
Salem's Lot- Stephen King
Anne Rice- Vampire Chronicles
I'll think of more lol :)
Huh? Are you sure?? Isn't it called Untamed or something like that? I woulda gotten it by now but I checked on Barnes and Noble and it says it hasn't come out yet. (I'm talking about the P.C. Cast series not Breaking Dawn: of COURSE I've already read that! :) )
lol you're right, depending on which books you've read, it would be hard to choose.. Edward, Lestat, Saint, Reign, Raven... mmmmmmmm.... (drooling)
