Hi! My name is Kelly, I am 25 and I live in Southeast Missouri. I teach Kindergarten through fifth grade music to some wonderful students, and I also assist with the high school band. After school I give private lessons on guitar, piano, snare drum, bass guitar, and voice. It keeps me busy. I live alone...well, not exactly alone, I have two cats, Ally and Allera and a beagle/lab mix, Tucker. Tucker and I love to go for walks around our town...he also REALLY enjoys meeting new people.

I enjoy reading for pleasure, but I usually don't have time for it (although I am carving time into my schedule). My favorite books are Gone with the Wind and Pride and Prejudice. But I am always willing to try new books...who knows I might find a new favorite (Julia's Chocolates is definately a runner up!)

I just finished Marley and Me. I really enjoyed it and it reminded me of my dog (Tucker is part Lab and part Beagle). The ending was a little sad, but also heartwarming at the same time!

I am really enjoying reading this book. I am planning on going to see the movie on Christmas Day, so I am desperately trying to get it finished before then!

I was planning on doing that anyway! Yay! Now I have a better reason to!

Here lately I play a lot of xylophone, guitar, piano and drums, but I play clarinet and saxophone. I love teaching the little kids! They are so much fun and they have so much wonder! And I get paid to PLAY all day, it is great!

I actually teach Kindergarten through fifth grade music and then I assist with the 9-12 grade bands.

Thanks for the welcome. I am excited to be here! I am a teacher and do not get to read much for pleasure, so I thought that this would get me back motivated to read!
