LOL I see what you mean Kat. I hated the ending too but it really did happen so I accepted it more than I would have if it were made up! I kept thinkin gthe same thing about the reporters too but then I thought that life may not have been so exciting back then and maybe people feeded off of the tabloids but who knows. I hate that sorta stuff anyway!
I will be done reading Rant by the end of the work day. I thus will start Zipporah Wife of Moses on my ride home.
Finished up on Eating Animals and now I am reading my last First Reads win : Courage of Fear by Barbara Boyer
Ok I got a B&N gift card and this week they are giving member prices on all their books so I brought:
-The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins
-Catching Fire - Suzanne Collins
-Until I Find You - John Irving
-People of the Book - Geraldine Brooks
Just finished Uglies gave it 4/5 stars
Now I am reading my First Reads win Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer
Finished up on Hummingbirds: A Novel and gave it 3/5 stars. Now I am reading Uglies and so far I am flying thru it. It is a good read thus far!
Beth wrote: "I just bought:Last Night in Twisted River A Novel by John Irving, Push A Novel by Sapphire, Living Dead Girl by [author:Eli..."
Push is a very quick read and will be out soon in the movies (independent film) It's disturbing but yet I couldn't stop reading it. Finished it in a day!
Just got them in the mail yesterday.
ordered from Half.com
The Desert Rose : Larry McMurtry
The Book of Lost Things : John Connolly
The Fourth Hand : John Irving
The Dewey Decimal System of Love : Josephine Carr
The Scarlet Pimpernel : Orczy
Lush Life : Richard Price
The Kind One : Tom Epperson
The Deep End of the Ocean : Jacquelyn Mitchard
So I was going to B&N to buy some books that I had on my list but I wasn't freeling well yesterday so I never made it over there. But since I was home early I dropped off some books due back at the library and there was one of my books I was going to purchase sitting right on the counter so I had to take it out so now I put Hummingbirds aside and now reading High on Arrival by Mackenzie Phillips.
