69520 I would like to nominate The Guest Cat. It looks perfect for any discerning cat. Alas, it is a TBR, so the recommendation is on synopsis alone...

Just wanted to add, those are beautiful cats.

69520 Henry Miller. Wasn't expecting that. And then Virginia Woolf with some of the maybe's switched about.

69520 I had not heard of it before, but find myself intrigued by Two Serious Ladies.

69520 Looks like fun, got it!
69520 The Years of Rice and Salt - what if instead of killing only ~30% of Europe's population, the Black Death killed 99%, leaving the rest of the world to develop along very different paths?
69520 The Secret History of Moscow is amazing, definitely recommend. Magical realism, good for those who enjoy works by Neil Gaiman and Charles de Lint.

I loved Death and the Penguin. Quite disappointed to hear the penguin doesn't show up in the second book, and hadn't even realized there was a third book in the series.
69520 This is one of the books I've always wanted to read, but never quite gotten to before getting distracted by another shiny new book. Very much looking forward to it now - loaded up and ready on my Kindle!
