66492 Happy New Year everyone! I love the holidays but I'm glad when the end comes and things quiet down again. My husband's family is overwhelming at times, so glad to be back at work and have the house quiet again. Time to "Breathe" again.

I like the idea of a monthly online book club. Sounds like fun.

66492 Ditto to everything already said. I love this group, the members and our moderators. I'm sure this group takes a tremendous amount of Dhes and Kristen's (MOD) time and I am so touched that you're both willing to create a safe place for us to come chat and support one another! This is the best group!

66492 Skype - that would be fun. I've never skyped before so it could be a train wreck on my end but worth the laugh.

Sorry late to the conversation but Princess Nhya I'm sorry you had to go through that, it's not fun. Like Diane I'm not a reviewer but I do put my thoughts about a book on GR most of the time. Since I read strictly for fun and I'm pretty choosy about the books I read most of my reviews are 4s & 5s. I rely on the reviews of many in our group to help me choose the books I'm going to read. I read both the reviews that are low and high to help me decide what I want to read. (Unless Kit wrote it - then I just read it!)

You guys are the best and this group is wonderful (like a virtual family). I don't comment a lot but I try to stay caught up because you are all so great!
66492 Just finished. I'm not a big fan of Werewolf stories but of course Kit can even write a Werewolf story I can't put down. I actually was dreaming about it last night! I'm with everyone who is ready for the third book. I can't wait to see how KA puts this next story together!

66492 Yep, it would be Tate for me too. There's just something about him that makes me want to read that book over and over (which I've done).

66492 I am so excited! I can say I knew her (Kit) way back when. :)

Really this is wonderful news and I'm so happy for Kit, she's worked so hard to get to this place!

66492 Dhes what state do your parents live in. This insurance sounds quite sketchy. I'm thinking it might be time to get the state insurance commission involved. Would Medicare pay for the hospital stay? (I'm in Washington State and our insurance regs are so stringent only 4 or 5 health insuranse companies are allowed to do business here. I'm probably not a good one to give advice, I wouldn't want something I suggested to cause that doctor to dig his heals in and not allow care for your parents.)

66492 Kindle Daily deal is a RS - The Past Came Hunting by Donnell Bell for $1.99. I enjoyed the book when I read it.

66492 Dhes, I'm so glad your dad's surgery went well. I know this is such a hard time for you with all the health issues in the family! Those "chickies" bring so much joy into your life (and ours with all the stories and pictures you've shared) my heart broke when I heard that one had died. I'll be praying for you dear. I know you are going to need some shoring up during this time. Wish I lived close by, I'd bring you a casserole with a hug!

66492 Ok, I posted the link to Febs Frittatas. Have fun Renee.

66492 Here's the link to Feb's Frittatas. I have made this several times and it is really good. My husband (a man of very few words) even said "This is really good".

I'm only posting the link instead of the recipe because it was really fun to read Kit's instructions. It's like you're on the phone with her and she's telling you exactly what to do to make the recipe work. It's almost as fun as one of her books. Happy Cooking!

I keep wondering when my husband is going to say something about all the KA books on the credit card statement. :)

66492 You might want to check out Amazon for their November 100 books under 3.99. I've read a couple by Norah Wilson and they were good. I haven't read the title on the November list but I'm going to try it. There are a couple more I may try (we'll see). Here's the link
66492 Just found the quiz, it was fun. It just proves that I need to reread all my favorite books. I figured I could wait to reread Knight but I've already forgotten so much.

66492 I just started watching SOA. My daughter came home and was trying to get caught up and I got "caught up" in all that is SAMCRO. Oh my goodness. I've watched from the beginning through last weeks episode. I have to say this season is making me mad. Mostly Clay and Gemma, it seems like everything they touch they destroy. I sure hope Jax catches on soon. My guess, before this season ends Jax and the new sheriff (I can't remember his name) will become allies to bring Clay down.

66492 Congratulations Winners!

Michele, thanks for you message. I think that sums it up for most of us. I was so excited when I found this group. I had read most of Kit's books and I wanted the magic to continue, low and behold there were a bunch of other women out there who wanted the magic. I'm so thankful for our group. It really is a support group. When I get home from a rough day I can pull up KA's addict's support group and know I'll find a laugh and/or a "hug" to wipe away the day.

66492 Ok, stop the merry go round! I had friends from college here and then I had to watch my sisters kids, all very fun activities, so I haven't been on line for almost 10 days and look what happens.
- a contest
- at least two new threads in our group
- Dhes is now a household name
- the baby chics look like chickens
- and god forbid Ames scent has been discontinued!
It's hard to believe how fast the wold is spinning!

It's good to be back and it caught up with everyone! You are definitely making me smile tonight.

That's the funniest thing I read in a long time!
66492 IMO the whole series is REALLY good

66492 Thanks Ame, I needed something to read.
