66060 I'm just finishing New Girl by Paige Harbison, and I have my blog tour date for it tomorrow (http://www.pentopaperblog.com if you're interested), and I started The Big Over Easy by Jasper Fforde yesterday, which is amazing so far!

Two really great reads!

66060 I definitely use social media to talk about books - all day, every day.
Not only am I goodreads obsessed, but I also talk on the forums on ReaditSwapit (although there has been little time for this recently), and I also run a book blog called Pen to Paper. Click there if you'd like to check it out :)

Then add facebook and twitter into the mix.... If I'm not writing, or reading, then I'm online talking about writing or reading!

I loved Water For Elephants - it's one of my favourites!

66060 I finished Fracture by Megan Miranda the other day, and started Crave by Melissa Darnell yesterday, which is good so far :) Just under 100 pages in at the moment.

66060 I finished Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver last night, and started Fracture by Megan Miranda today :) It's really good so far!

66060 I'll take Lynsey and Treez's advice and go for Gentlemen & Players then :)
Will have to be next month though, because I'm doing a Review Copy Cleanup challenge all through March.

I will definitely have to grab a copy next time I'm at work then :) If they haven't been nabbed while I've been gone :P

Was Gold good, Lindsay? We have a couple of review copies of it at work, but I wasn't sure. I read The Other Hand a couple of years ago, and thought it was okay, but wasn't sure about this one.

I love Charlaine Harris and the other Harris - Joanne! Good to have you in the group!

I've only read one of Joanne Harris' novels,
Blueeyedboy, but that was fantastic! I have Gentlemen & Players and Blackberry Wine to read now. Which would you recommend first? :)

66060 I'm reading Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver at the moment - I think I'm about 2/3 of the way through, so hopefully I'll be able to finish and review that today.
Then I'll be moving onto my next review book, which I think will either be Fracture by Megan Miranda (for Bloomsbury), or Partials by Dan Wells (for HarperCollins).
I'm looking forward to both of them, so I think I'll have to toss a coin!

66060 Hi, thanks for the invite!
I'm Dani, a 21-year-old, English and Creative Writing student at Birmingham City University.
I'm also a bookseller at Waterstones in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, and a book blogger at Pen to Paper. I'll follow anyone back, who lets me know that they're following :)

I'll read pretty much anything, to be honest - even if it's not one of my 'normal' genres, I'll give anything a go once. But my favourite genres are Fantasy/urban fantasy, Science Fiction, and Dystopian Fiction. But I do read general fiction too!
I'm attempting to read more crime novels, as this is the genre that I tend to ignore a little.

My favourite authors are from a range of genres. At the top of the list is Charlaine Harris (who writes mostly Dark Fantasy stuff now, but I also enjoy her older, crime series), Barbara Kingsolver, and Jasper Fforde (among many others).

I look forward to chatting :)
