The entire series, in Mobipocket eBook, is available at the Mobipocket site for $.99 for the next three weeks! The first one is available for a lot longer in Kindle form for $1.99 on Amazon.com! So, if bucks were keeping you away from this newbie's work, feel free....

For me, it had to be "2001: A Space Odyssey", my first over-200 pager, at age 17.

I highly recommend the very first one, "Last Voyage of the Cassiopeia", and then just going on down the line: "Almagest", then "3700", then "The Avedon Question", in sequential order. Of the sequels, "3700" is probably the most entertaining, but that's MY personal opinion....However, there are good points to all the books....
