6369 Women are at fault because they listen to snakes. You don't see men going around doing everything snakes tell them.
Wait a minute.
Never mind.

6369 Once it's out of the womb it has original sin all over it. (I think. Actually I don't know when original sin gets puts into the mix.)

6369 LibraryThing is the most popular? What am I doing here then? See you losers later!

6369 Donna, I think my copy fell off the bookshelf and ended up in King Arthur's court.
Mar 05, 2009 09:22PM

6369 Donna, is that the edition with the Kurt Vonnegut introduction? Mine's missing, too.
Mar 05, 2009 05:24PM

6369 I agree, Jackie. Upton Sinclair's The Jungle was controversial, not notorious.

6369 And he was a Major in the army.

6369 Yeah, I'm not entirely convinced intelligence is a real thing that can be measured, and if it can be measured I'm not sure the SAT is a valid way to measure it.
6369 You're such a nitpicker, Donna.

6369 I think I'll go view porn in honor of all those women who were denied that option.
6369 Why are the White people trying to convince the Black person that racism is a problem? What has happened?
Feb 25, 2009 12:11PM

6369 And I understand Vonnegut didn't appreciate the joke.

6369 I've read A Woman A Day (AKA Timestop!) which was interesting in that the entire plot turned on a somewhat clever pun, and A Feast Unknown, which is the most sickening violent book I've ever read.

6369 Skull and Bones is behind every presidential election. Didn't you know that?
Feb 18, 2009 07:22PM

6369 Okay good, they made it so if you become a fan of more than one author they now combine them as one update so it doesn't clog my update feed anymore.
Feb 18, 2009 05:50PM

6369 I'm just putting up my top ten favorite authors. I'm friends with two authors, but I haven't gotten around to reading any of their books so I don't feel right saying I'm a fan of theirs.
