Dark Obsession Chronicles - Promo"
Because of the outtage yesterday, I couldn't post my link here- but now that GR is working (for now):http://darkobsessionchronicles.blogsp...
Justin, thanks so much for answering! Ann- he got it exactly right!
OK... at least one
participant... any other takers?
I, too, was amused by your example. Unfortunately... unless it's in this
group (I am a Mod here) there is not much that can be done. Just like any other advertising, they want your attention. They just figured out a go-around (or outright opposed group rules) to get their promotion seen.
Sadly, nature of the beast.
All posted and ready for sign-ups. Any books you have read over the last 5 days can be included toward your goal
Happy New Year, Making Connections!
Time to Start Your New Year's Resolutions!
Below is a New

one book represented from each category (each book can only represent one task, but you may re-use tasks within each category
)... that's about the only rule. Re-reads are generally not going to work for this challenge, as this is focusing on new
not old. Your reading choices, level, can be subject to change (at your discretion.) Generally, if you can justify your choice of book, usually I will accept it. *Review (for certain tasks) must be linked in your challenge post.Duration:

No worries.... I'm not related to any authors (that I am aware of currently) but I 'pimp' out my favorite authors so much, I feel like they are a good friend! Well, in all honesty, I do have many author friends. But I try to be an 'equal opportunity' pimp
Romance and chocolate, those are good selling points (especially for Feb/Valentine's)
OH! And... I'd recommend more ways to follow (instead of just by email.) I use BlogLovin', Networked Blogs, Linky, and Google Friend Connect (although I hear this might not last?)
I also recommend, as a long-term goal, to make a 'button' for your blog. It's just a little picture that you can offer for others that follow you to post it (with an attached link) on their blog to promote yours as well.
Also, I would recommend having something to help 'define' your ratings. It doesn't have to be long, just a simple 1=hated it, 2=take it or leave it, 3=OK, 4=Really Enjoyed it, 5=YESYESYES!(The above is an example only)
Took a peek, nothing glaring about it. Although I wished when I first go in, that it would automatically show (full size) the latest review/post (especially since there is only one up there currently)
It's nice, very clean and uncluttered (I'm more of a clutter freak on the blog and in real life)... I'd say it just needs more posts, and maybe (once you get more content) more 'categories' or whatever your blog host program thingy offers to 'group' your posts. It's a moot point currently, it's more of a future recommendation. Feel welcome to join our Making Connections blog tours to get your blogging feet wet, if you like.
Forgive me, I've been sick for over a week now; I'm running a bit behind (my post is due today). Working on it right now, should be up within 30(ish) minutes. I'll post a link here once I'm done. (Loved it, by the way!)
