Jessica, those Suzanne Collins books are like crack! I liked both of them a lot...now it ..."

Ooh, I know!! I just finished Catching Fire and can't wait to see how everything ends up!

596 Listening to Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. I really enjoyed the first book in this series (Hunger Games), so hopefully this one will deliver as well.

596 Recently started People of the Book: A Novel (Audio CD - Narrated by Edwina Wren) by Geraldine Brooks and The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls on Playaway (not sure of the narrator). The Glass Castle is great so far. The other one is pretty slow, but I've only just finished the 1st cd.

596 Currently listening to Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood, narrated by Campbell Scott. I'm liking the story so far, but the narrator's voice is kind of getting on my nerves. I'm not sure what it is about his voice. I guess its kind of creepy.

596 Listening to The World According to Garpby John Irving. So far so good!

596 Finished Stardust...LOVED it!!! Now I'm listening to and loving The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins ,read by Someone McCormick. I'm using one of those Playaway devices to hear it. It's my new favorite way to listen to books. I can walk for hours just listening to it! (Ok, 2 hrs max). I would do the IPOD thing, but the IPOD downloadable choices from my library are slim and I don't have the patience to transfer from CDs.

596 I'm 1 CD aways from finishing Neil Gaiman's Stardust, read by the author. I'm really enjoying it! A fairy tale for adults!

596 Currently listening to Pompeii by Robert Harris, narrated by John Lee. It's interesting, but not the kind of book that keeps me on my toes. Although, I think I'd enjoy anything read by John Lee.

You just CRACKED me up with you eyes aching from rolling!!!!!

596 Currently listening to What is the What by Dave Eggers, read by Dion Graham. I'm getting close to the last few cd's and have loved it from the beginning. The narration is wonderful.

596 Currently listening to Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, read by Josephine Bailey. I'm really enjoying it so far!

596 Ann, Fiona thanks. I won't give up on Dumas Key, Out of Egypt, and Catch-22 then.

Fiona, I didn't like listening to The Curious incident of the dog in the night time. I think it's one of those better read than heard books.

Fiona, did you enjoy listening to Catch-22? I tried to read it and couldn't finish. I couldn't get into it. It may have just been a timing thing. I was thinking of trying it out again, maybe in audiobook form this time.

596 Currently listening to A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore, Narrated by Fisher Stevens. It CRACKS ME UP!!! I had been listening to John Lee narrate Pillars of the Earth and then A World Without End and completely fell in love with his voice, so it was really difficult to get back into another book with a different reader. I couldn't make it through the 1st CD of either Anne Rice's Out of Egypt or Stephen King's Dumas Key, but A Dirty Job got me back on track.

596 A World Without End by Ken Follett, narrator John Lee. This is the follow-up book to Pillars of the Earth. I'm not as drawn into this one as Pillars. So far I just don't like the characters as much.

596 I've enjoyed the Hitchhiker's Guide audiobooks also. I've never tried to read them, but it just seems like they were meant to be heard.
