596 hello audible,

i wanted to put in a vote for fixing the speed control issue on the ios app so it can actually do speeds faster than 2x. i have a third party app called swift that goes up to 3x with no clipping. i would love the option in the audible app so i don't have to mess with downloading and synching (and i can keep working on my badges!).

596 if you contact audible, they will happily refund the order so you can order again at the lower price.

596 It's also $1.99. Great deal for a nearly 30-hour book. I have the whole Matthew Corbett series but I am a few books behind in my listening.

596 thanks for the heads-up! not too thrilled by any of the late additions and i probably won't listen to them, but overall the bundle was worth it for red rising, hollow world and fight club. i might also re-read the cory doctorow book someday.

596 Only one book I am interested in, as usual.

596 you can also get this one, read by john lee, for even cheaper - $3.98 total.

596 Jennifer (Feedback's just another word for we don't give a damn) wrote: "I cannot sort by progress on iOS. Recent, Title, Author, Length. Not Finished / Unfinished."

if your app is up to date, the sort options under the "audiobooks" tab should be "all titles, audiobooks, free, promotional, unfinished, free excerpts." you can then sort within those categories by "recent, title, etc."

596 i never did end up getting the email, so no "bonus" code for me beyond the one the CS rep added manually. oh well!

596 i really wanted hollow world and have been thinking of using an audible credit on it, so i went with the $10 level. cheaper than a credit, and i got the other books as a bonus. i don't think i ever read fight club (though i have seen the movie and read a handful of the author's other books), and though i already listened to red rising and down & out in the magic kingdom, i enjoyed them and don't mind having copies. the others seemed at least interesting, and there's more to come. not a bad deal at all.

596 i haven't received mine yet. i chatted with customer service about it and the rep added a credit to my account unasked. he said if i do wind up getting the email, i will get another free credit! :)

596 Awesome choices kristie! Secret history and good lord bird are great, and I LOVED a tale for the one being.

596 mine was confusingly worded. she said i'll receive a "claim code that can be redeemed for your reward either credit or coupon."

596 i just chatted with customer service and even though i didn't get the email they said i was eligible if i use the specified number of credits. i emailed myself a copy of the transcript just to be safe...

596 The books are technically slightly abridged. According to Brandon Sanderson (they did his Warbreaker), they cut out some descriptive language if they add in sound effects and cut all the "so-and-so said." but he felt it was still largely accurate to call it an unabridged take.
