You might look for a book called the Thirteenth Hour. I think that is what they call that sorta of "mystical" kind of thing. =) I remember reading a roleplaying article based on it. I could have sworn there has been a movie similar as well. Wish I could be more specific. =)

Carolyn has gotten my attention. I do promote, but my own profile has over half my library listed on it. People can get a taste of what I read, and hopefully they can get a taste of what I write by learning a little bit about me. Plus I do more than promote my book. On occasion I will recommend other people's books. =) Depends on my whim, might not make business sense, but I feel better about it. =)

Without spoiling the storyline, I read the whole thing and it is rather dark. Does the next story lighten up any? Tragedy is great but this book has it in spades. I liked the tale well enough. It was well written and deeply thought out. Just my thoughts. =)
I loved the Dragon Bone chair series Sherri. I had a crush in high school that had dark hair with a little shock of blonde. Like my good old friend Simon Snowlock except white.. crazy what one can imagine. =) Of course people are welcome to look in on my book Dreamsbane of Tamalor, but I have to argee that Tad Williams is a good author. =)
