Rather enjoyed the book - so got to wait til this weekend before seeing if I can go see the film :D

Time to figure out what I feel like reading now :S

EDIT: Have decided to put my eReader to good use and have just started Don Quixote - should be good - but may read a second book as well (actual paper book)just to be able to take breaks as it seems rather long!

Haha, glad to hear you enjoyed the film - the book's turning out to be quite interesting so far (though only a bit way through so far). Can't wait to see the film :D

52383 Thanks Alexandra - I've now noticed Chaos has filled the snuggly hole with extra sawdust for the heat replacement... def getting a toy thing now that'll be safe for him! I hate pets dying - that's the first time I've actually been around for something that wasn't a goldfish (I was usually at school or living away from home :()

I love this autumnal feel - get to warm up & feel all cosy with porridge and fluffy slippers in the morning :D

I love it! Thank goodness for english subtitles tho' else I'd be doomed :S BBC 4 are about to show the 2nd series so the 1st was rerun a few months ago as build-up.

@Anagha - I usually stick to english or american too but this got such rave reviews that I gave in and am glad I did (the glasses came out for the subs tho' - darnit!).

52383 Yeah, was quite sad, bless him :(
But Mayhem had a nice little burial in a box in the local park early this morning (cos that didn't look dodgy at all :S) Better than being put out for bin men... nwo the question is would Chaos like a pet toy to snuggle up with?

Just been watching a whole load more of The Killing and I think I may be starting to get the hang of some basic Danish ;D

52383 My accent changes depending on where I am & who I'm talking to - it's rather weird :P

Came home from my sister's place last night and one of my gerbils was looking ill - my poor li'l Mayhem died after 3 hours of me holding & hand-feeding him hoping he'd get better... now Chaos has no one to snuggle up with :(

52383 Last year my laptop broke so I had 2 months with no internet at home - was the best time for reading ever... may hafta consider limiting myself to 5 mins a day online just to get through all my books ;D

Yep Ana, Veronica is right (and she speaks for me when I'm not totally awake & online - sweet!! :D) any questions etc feel free to ask... altho', this being a Sunday tradition dictates all my carefully laid plans have been messed up and in an hour's time I gotta go spend the rest of day doing family things - joys :P

52383 Oh no - giveaways, memes & things should def have their own thread to help publicise!!

I only really started this thread with the idea for blog posts/reviews to be put up here instead of making a new thread every time or posting in the thread that's just for advertising your blog for people to follow.
