Ooo - excellently put, Peggy. Really. So - what do you think about including memoirs under this category? They are nonfiction (well, sometimes - that's a different topic of conversation...) and written in a literary style, but they just seem so... other to me. I think of creative nonfiction as a kind of reportage and less personal.
Please add books to the bookshelf (feel free to create sub-shelves) and start discussions. You can introduce yourself and your favorite creative nonfiction works in this thread.
