I am always looking at way to make this group better. If you have any suggestions feel free to post them here.
Struggling to make ends meet and desperate for a little adventure Chloe Underwood steps outside her comfort zone and accepts a job translating at a business meeting in the French countryside. Almost immediately Chloe realizes that the men and women at this meeting are not caters but something more sinister. Before she can make her escape her life is in danger and only one man, Bastien Toussaint, may be able to save her. But is she escaping the fire to jump into the frying pan? And how far will Bastien go to protect his own secrets.
This book starts off with intrigue and just when it looks like it’s over Anne Stuart throws in another twist. I liked Chloe as a character she was realistic and not some uber-strong operative or a weak whinny woman. Bastien was less appealing to me as a male lead but he was sexy and strong so that can make up for a lot of less appealing traits.

Amy Sedaris takes a half serious half humorous look at the lost art of hospitality. While portions of the book were laugh out loud hilarious others were just bizarre and absurd. The one thing I can take a way from this book is add more alcohol to everything. I may try listening to the book like Pam did or just to drink up before handed.
Black Mass The True Story of an Unholy Alliance Between the FBI and the Irish Mob by Dick Lehr and Gerard O'Neill

Henry the VIII has 6 wives and a personal life full of scandal and betryal. Alison Weir gives us a heavily reserched and detailed account of the women that had the fortune or misfortune of marrying the King. If you are new to the Tudor saga then this is a great book to learn all you can. If you are a Tudor fanatic and have read many things about them this book doesnot cover a lot of new ground.

This is not bothering me so much but I am a Tudor junkie.

I didnt think it was horror either. When the book was published I dont think Urban Fantasy was a big genere so they lumped all these types of books in the horror section.
Welcome Rachel I am not a fan of The Time Traveler's Wife either. In fact I never finished it. I will think of some books. Is there any type of books you really dislike
