4862 I'm halfway through Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese and loving it. I hate to have to put it down.

I just started listening to The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams (#2 in the Hitchhiker's Guide series). Such fun on audio - I'm giggling everywhere I drive.

4862 I'm already following both Ann and Michael.

I like Ann's idea of a separate column in Tweetdeck for our BOTNS friends ;-)

4862 I have a pretty extensive excel spreadsheet on my palm pilot.

The master list page is everything (read and to-read) with columns for author, series, series order, recommended by, date added to TBR, etc. etc.

From there I can sort and filter to create smaller working lists for additional pages:
read soon
library (both to request and those out so I can watch due dates)
shopping (used or new)

etc. etc.

Yes I'm a dork, but I've used this for years and it's great to always have my TBR/shopping/library list with me on my palm pilot.

4862 I'm finishing up Trinity by Leon Uris. It's been hanging around on the fringes of my TBR list for ages and I finally got around to actually reading it. It's a Chunkster and has taken me a while, but I've really enjoyed it. Historical Fiction set in Ireland in late 1800's - early 1900's.

4862 I usually only have two books going at any one time. I'll be reading on "3-D" book and listening to another in the car. Once in a while I'll have more than two going at once, but not often.

I should count my google reader as another book.

4862 If it's not inappropriate I'll put in a plug for my own book blog here

4862 I'm about halfway through The End of California by Steve Yarbrough. I'm really liking it so far.

My audiobook in the car is Miss Julia Strikes Back by Ann B. Ross. This is a great series for driving around town listening.

4862 " If you have too many books on your nightstand, it just means that you need a bigger nightstand!"

We should add that to the GoodReads quotes list!

4862 Ann - yes I really like Lee Child. I only discovered his books a year or so ago, so I've only read the first 4. I'm planning on reading Echo Burning soon. The Hubster is a fan of the series too. Jack Reacher is a great character. He and Nelson DeMille's John Corey should team up.

I also really like Jack Kerley's Carson Ryder, David Rosenfelt's Andy Carpenter

Michael: I listen to audiobooks whenever I'm in the car by myself - I tend to listen to lighter stuff so it works well in small 10-15 minute increments while driving to work or errands. I get books on cd from the library and download them to my ipod.

4862 Hi - I subscribed to the podcast after Ann posted about it on the A Novel Challenge Yahoo group. I've listened to the first 5 episodes so far. I really enjoy the podcast.

I read a variety of genres, but my favorite is mystery/thrillers.
