Ann,
Would you please delete the post? I didn't mean to cause trouble on the group or have others on here think of me as being inappropriate. I'm very sorry to you all.

I am sorry that this appears to be spam. I didn't mean it to be at all. I had posted the link on my blog for a site that is giving the Kindle away, it isn't me personally giving them away. I love this group and books and thought others on here might be interested in trying to win a Kindle.

I read the books and liked them for the most part. Yes, there were parts that didn't seem very well written but I am all for getting kids/teenagers to read and I think these books have done a great job at that.

I just ready Body of Knowledge by Bryce Anderson. It is a self published title but it is amazing. Please check it out.

I would love if my local library did this. I remember as a kid, I couldnt wait to go each week to the reading program.

That is a great philosophy Rita. Too many good ones out there to force one on yourself. I will keep that in mind the next time for me. I think I just didn't look at it that way.

There are only a couple of books that I have not finished. I think I try really hard to keep going until I just reach a point where I can say OK, no more. For some reason I just have the idea that if I keep reading..just maybe it will get better and I hate to not try.

I just started Undress Me in the Temple of Heaven by Susan Jane Gilman. I like it so far. Has anyone else read this yet?
