475 I hope you bought the Austen books, Shea. For $7.99 for six books, that is a deal. I need to go to Borders to buy a book for my daughter's English class, I haven't found it at any bookstore lately. The title is And then there were none by Agatha Christie.

475 alright, on second thought, I won't get it.

475 Same as Inez, I love books, usually get books from the library or the bookroom attached to the library. Usually find good deals there. Will be a holdout for the nook and kindle crowd. Don't want to get anything electronic.

475 I will try to look for it, if possible. Thanks for the update, Kim. Maybe my indie bookseller will have a copy of it. The story line fascinates me.

475 So sorry to see you go, Anna C. You have had a lot of good things to add to this group, and your leaving will be our loss.

475 I try to come on these threads maybe not as much as I once did. with work and daughter's schooling and me being her chauffeur and all.

475 I got through the opening scenes and then It froze. I think I have seen this one previously. Thanks, Rachel.

475 I hope everyone is okay there as well.

475 I just saw the second of the Harry Potter series, and I was so sad with Snapes demise. Didn't read the Deathly Hallows book, but it was a well done production.

475 Kim, I did not know there was a book about the Ghost and Mrs. Muir, who is the author?
Aug 07, 2011 02:38PM

475 I need to listen to him on that audio as well, thanks.

475 Is Rickman's voice on Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy, may check that one out to just hear his mellifluous voice. Ha!

475 That was a nice series. Quite different from the original. But Gene Tierney was a classic beauty bar none.

475 Kelley, the original Ghost and Mrs. Muir is certainly a classic. I also remember watching Edward Mullhare, and wasn't it Hope Lange who played Mrs. Muir, if I am not mistaken. His voice was of the baritone persuasion, as I recall.

475 Still, what a horrible thing to do.

475 Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy need I say more?

475 I thought it was Jack the Ripper, so apparently Jack copied someone else's nefarious crimes, then?

475 I just saw The Tenant of Wildfell Hall on DVD yesterday, and Toby Stephens would make a good Rochester. Tara Fitzgerald was also good in the lead role, she would be good in other period pieces as well, saw her in I Capture the Castle awhile back and remembered her from that role.

475 Wow, 2011 members and this being the year 2011. The mind boggles.

475 His voice was put to good use in Alice in Wonderland. He was channelling Severus Snape, a bit I think.LOL
