I think Sandra Heath wrote quite a few Regencies along paranormal lines. One that comes to mind is Marigold's Marriages. When I read it, I wasn't expecting it to be paranormal. (I'm not really a fan of paranormals.) :o)
Thank you to all who entered my recent giveaway. Please visit my blog to find out who the winner is.http://jaimeygrant.blogspot.com

Hey, everyone!
Joyce DiPastena just posted her interview with me on her blog, JDP News. She is also hosting a book giveaway with three ways to enter to win. Stop on by and learn some things you may not have known about me. The contest ends August 2nd.
Thanx for looking! Happy writing!!
I am a fan of Loretta Chase. I recently read Viscount Vagabond, and The Devil's Delilah, two of her older, out-of-print traditional regencies. But Lord of Scoundrels is my favorite, hands down. :o) In fact, the hero from Viscount Vagabond reminded me very much of Lord Dain from LOS. (LOS is quite, um...steamy, just FYI.)Of Madeline Hunter's I've only read a couple of her medievals. I liked those and have heard positive things about her regencies.

I have enjoyed some of Mary Balogh's older Regencies but have not tried her more recent ones. Which ones did you get?

It appears smashwords is down today. I'm not sure why. I'll see what I can find out.Sorry for the inconvenience. :o)
Hello, everyone!
I am running a poll on my blog: http://jaimeygrant.blogspot.com called "How Much Importance Do You Place On Reviews?" I am curious to know how much readers listen to reviews when deciding what books to buy. Please take a few moments to vote in my anonymous poll. If you'd like to share your particular opinion, comments are very welcome.
Thank you for your time and have a lovely day!

I'm not sure why it wouldn't let you buy it. As far as I know the country of the buyer shouldn't matter. Oh well. If you contact me via the private messenger provided right here on goodreads, I can give you a code to download it for free.
So sorry. Have a lovely day!
Hello, fans of Regency fiction!
I just wanted to leave a brief post about the poll (How Important are Author Photos?) I'm running on my blog. I'd love all of your opinions and anyone who leaves a comment on my blog explaining their opinion will be entered to win a signed copy of my upcoming Regency, Deception.

(Poll will be closed May 9th. Winner of Deception will be drawn May 15th.)
Hope to see you there! Have a great day!

Chasidy wrote: "I find Julia Quinn's novels witty and fun, the same goes for Lisa Kleypas and Victoria Alexander. More recently I've picked up Johanna Lindsey's Malory series and Stephanie Laurens' Cynster Family ..."I agree, Julia Quinn is fun. I am currently reading her "Two Dukes of Wyndham" duo and I think the reviewers on Amazon have been rather hard on her. They're not as good as her Bridgerton series but they are still entertaining. Several people complained about the second book being too close to the first, so I decided to read them at the same time. I think she should have written one volume with four POVs instead of two full-length novels. But that's just my opinion. In all honesty, though, I think I like the characters in the second book better...
I've never read Lisa Kleypas but I've been hearing so much about her books lately that I'm starting to get curious. :o)

Here's the deal. I decided to let someone else handle the download part of my offer. Saves me some time, you know? If you go to https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/13... and use coupon code NZ95N you can download Betrayal for only $0.99 until April 5. After that, we'll see what kind of offer I can think up! :o)
Thanx for your interest and have a lovely day!
I find Loretta Chase's writing style very entertaining. Lord of Scoundrels had me in stitches. And I highly recommend her short story, The Mad Earl's Bride in Three Weddings and a Kiss. It is connected to LOS. I haven't read her Carsington series yet. I'll have to add them to my wishlist.Of Julia Quinn's, The Viscount Who Loved Me & An Offer From a Gentleman were the two--so far--that I enjoyed the most.
I've had to suspend my FREE EBOOK offer. I had an overwhelming response--thank you, readers!--and now I'm just waiting on those reviews. LOL Those of you to whom I made certain promises, those promises still stand. You can still get some of my manuscripts free. However, I now have a third party to handle all the downloading. :o)
Thank you, all, and have a lovely day!!

*******NO LONGER AVAILABLE*******Let me start by apologizing for this post if anyone finds this sort of thing annoying. Posting in forums at all makes me nervous and I am definitely not out to make enemies.
I'm sorry.
Let me continue by adding:
I am offering free PDF e-books to anyone interested in giving me a positive/honest review on Goodreads and Amazon for one or more of my Regencies. Descriptions, excerpts, and reviews can be found on my profile: Jaimey Grant, or follow one of the more specific links below. If you are interested, please either post here, or send me a message and I will email the file(s) to you. I don't recommend posting your email address here for everyone and their brother to see, but I will need it to send the file(s), so I recommend a private message. I promise I will only use it to send the file(s). I will not give it to anyone, nor will I use it to ever contact you directly unless given permission to do so.
Please note: I leave the graphic love scenes out of my romances, but they are all rather "dark" in ways, sometimes disturbingly so, but not paranormal. They are all connected by recurring characters and are listed below in the order that they occur.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and have a lovely day!
