45400 I wish I was home when the mail came...and I would just go out and say hi and grab them. I have no patience. :)

45400 but it's not even winter any more. Oh, though I suppose that depends on what hemisphere you're in.

45400 Liked the Lathe of Heaven, Jayme, enjoy!

45400 Plucky heroine, for sure, though I hold a special place in my heart for the dastardly villain as well, if written right.

I like to read just before bed, probably because I was allowed to stay up an extra half hour if I chose to read. But I definitely think reading warm inside on rainy days is excellent. Especially if there's a fire. In the fireplace, I mean. ;)

This may be the same answer for everyone, considering we're all readers, but who's your favorite Disney Princess? Or Prince?

45400 Punch it in the nose! Isn't that what you're supposed to do?

Totally Hermione...hmm, I'm sensing a pattern of us liking strong women. ;) Tiny Fey is awesome too!

Liking Paramore right now.

If you were in the circus, what act would you be?

45400 Great things like that! Lol. :D

45400 Reading Uglies (Uglies, #1) by Scott Westerfeld!

Really excited about it, I've heard great things.

45400 But it doesn't hurt you to eat it, right? They put it in other stuff, too. I think it's in some drinking water.

45400 What's wrong with that?

45400 What exactly is the extra crap in the meat? Just a bunch of 'not really meat' stuff?

Also, packed for the weekend and left, forgetting all my books at home . . . *mopes about sadly*

45400 Lol! That was a great part in the book, I thought it was really funny, too. That, and the fact that all the boys didn't want to get whatever disease she had.

45400 I definitely agree with Elle on the depth that Meyer went into, and I also thought it added to the reality of the book. But it was also very simply and tastefully done, because Jacky is so innocent and straightforward as a narrator, which I thought helped.

I also like girls as boys books. Maybe it's just the continuing attempt to keep the secret and the scrapes that they have to get through to keep it contained.

I thought the language was a bit difficult at first, but the author lightened up on it considerably once Jacky was aboard the ship, which was a relief. Then it was just the token stuff kept to keep the flavor of the voice, which I thought was nice. I think Jacky had a lot more education than most, but I think that had to be done for today's readers.

I liked the boys Jacky grew up with as well as her earlier street gang with Charlie. I was sad there wasn't more to be said about them, but I thought that part of the story was taken care of pretty well. I didn't see much difference between any of the other boys in the brotherhood aside from Jaimy, of course. I thought they pretty much had all the right people on the crew as well, some nice guys and some mean guys.

45400 Love mayo! My friends tease me that I should be Canadian because I love it so much, though that's just a sterotype too. But it's a good thing to hate! It'll keep you thinner. ;)

Still paying it off, does that count? I've got a dark blue Prius. But the first car I 'drove' that was 'assigned to me' was my parents' Ford stationwagon. I could fit a ton of people in the back of that thing!

Umm...favorite gum flavor?

45400 I usually grow my hair to about mid-back in between cuts, but I'm way too nervous about cutting it all off. I've got curly hair, and I'm afraid it'll be super curly and icky if I cut it short!

Haha, yay for edits, Stacia.

45400 I'm debating back and forth about it. Currently I'm waiting to see if my boyfriend is going to be busy on Saturday and therefore unable to distract me before going for it. :D

45400 Ohhh, love it too then!! I've only been to one as well, but always meant to check if there was one in my area. Guess what I'm going to be doing in just another second....

45400 I feel like the name sounds familiar. Is that where you put everything in a bowl that you want and they cook it all up for you?
