So do I. Has anyone read the first chapter of Breaking Dawn? If you have, it doesn't look like he will. And am I alone in thinking that the killer in the preface is Jacob?
Okay, so I recently finished Eclipse and I loved it. Personally, I think it's the best so far. But I heard some people say that they felt that the ending of Eclipse was really bad...I do not feel this way; I thought it was very good. Does anyone know why the ending would be considered bad?
I think some people think it's the least favorite (not for me; someone else told me this) because they feel that the whole part where Edward left Bella and she was left in the numbness slowed down the book a lot. I disagree; It really showed how attached Bella was, and how Jacob's and Bella's relationship grew.

No, it's more than just that she has a sensitive mind...it has something to do with the way Bella's mind works...in a very private way. I'm sure there was more, I remember there being more to Meyer's answer...I wish the question was still on her site so you could see it.

Because Bella's mind is a very sensitive spot. It's really private, and that's why nobody can break through it...that's also why Aro's power doesn't work (obviously) and also Jane's power. Jane's power works by putting the illusion of pain on the mind. That's why Bella is immune to those. She's not immune to Jasper's because he doesn't work with the mind, he works with your pulse and stuff.

This is what I want to happen: Edward will turn Bella into a vampire, they will get married, and live happily ever after. Jacob will get his nose out of Bella's business and go find some other girl to imprint on.Hopefully all that will happen. If Bella doesn't end up with Edward, I will go and HUNT stephenie meyer down.
I love the breaking dawn cover!! I think that the chessboard represents Bella's life. The Queen, which as more power over the chessboard, thus more over Bella's life, is Edward. The prawn, who has less power over the chessboard, but can still affect it, is Jacob.
I like Bella (although Ellen Page would have been a good choice!) and Carlisle and Esme are cool. The rest- no. Rosalie isn't extremely pretty or anything, Jasper's hair is very strange, Emmett is supposed to have curls, Alice looks like a punk rocker and is not pretty, Jacob Black doesn't have long enough hair and is not how I imagined at all, and Edward- no. Wrong picture.
