4500 I have a group on here called Stephenie Meyer Fans (http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/1407...). Please join if you love the Twilight series AND The Host AND if you would read pretty much anything she would write :)

I would like to find someone to moderate the group with me. What that means (to me or in my opinion) is someone to help me:

a.) find out more info about Stephenie—sharing any new legit info with the group;
b.) start new discussions/polls/etc. about the books or Stephenie;
c.) help me watch the current discussions—make sure rumors aren't started (keep the facts straight); and
d.) help me think of new ways to help the group grow/become better.

Does that sound like something you'd be interested in? If so, join my group and give me the following information.

1.) How old are you?
2.) How many times have you read the Twilight series?
3.) How often do you check StephenieMeyer.com?

I'm looking for die hard fans only please! Come join my group and let's talk Edward/Jacob & Ian/Jared!!!

Because there aren't any books that start with X that I can find besides like one, and I'm SO not interested in reading it, so as the rules state (which I took from someone else's A to Z challenge): "*If you cannot find a book you want to read for Q, V, X, Y, or Z (because there are a select few), then find a book title with one of those letters in it". Next.

I have a lot more books ill read for sure, but I knew this would push me to try different genres. I don't know if I could read another vampire book after twilight.

4500 Hey everyone! I decided that I wanted to do an A through Z Book Challenge to widen my reading range. That means I have to complete (on average) one book every two weeks to complete this by the end of this year. I thought I would share this idea with you, thinking it would be fun to do with someone else. I will cross them out as I read them.

Rules
1: Choose one book title per letter ('A' and 'The' don't count - for example, "The Boy Next Door" would go under 'B')
2: You can include books you've read, but they have to have been read since January 1, 2009.
3: You can't use the same book twice or a book from the same series under two separate letters (ex: If I chose Twilight under 'T', I couldn't use New Moon under 'N', or Eclipse under 'E', etc.)
4: If you cannot find a book you want to read for Q, V, X, Y, or Z (because there are a select few), then find a book title with one of those letters in it

Here's my list
A: Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
B: Blue Noon (Midnighters series) by Scott Westerfeld (2/8/09)
C: A Countess Below Stairs by Eva Ibbotson (3/14/09)
D: Dreamhunter by Elizabeth Knox
E: Envy A Luxe Novel (The Luxe series) by Anna Godbersen (2/27/09)
F: The Five Love Languages How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate by Gary Chapman
G: The Girl Who Could Fly by Victoria Forester
H: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
I: I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith
J: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
K: Keturah and Lord Death by Martine Leavitt (3/11/09)
L: Love the One You're With by Emily Giffin
M: Magic Study by Maria Snyder
N: Nights in Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks
O: Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
P: Picture Perfect by Jodi Picoult
Q: Queen of Babble by Meg Cabot
R: Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella (3/18/09)
S: Shadowland by Meg Cabot
T: The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger (2/8/09)
U: Uglies (Uglies series) by Scott Westerfeld (2/12/09)
V: Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
W: Wicked The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire
X: The Boy Next Door by Meg Cabot

4500 Did all of you read the Twilight series before or after you read your suggested books? I don't know if I could read another vampire book and not feel like it was all wrong. Opinions please?

Movie Thoughts (17 new)

4500 I laughed when Edward was being changed by Carlisle and when Edward sucked the venom out of Bella! What was with his facial expressions? LMAO! The running was hilarious! It was cheaply made and very wierd... Catherine just didn't capture the love between Bella and Edward (which is the only reason all of us are so darn addicted to the series) and to tell you the truth, I think it had to do with Kristen Stewart. In an interview, she said that some parts the screenwriter had in the script were "too cheesy" so Catherine told her to just say what came to her mind, what "feels natural". I don't know about you guys, but I think Kristen LOOKS perfect for Bella and has similar personality traits, but she just isn't good at the goopy-romance stuff. I like Kristen Stewart, and I'm completely 100% obsessed with Twilight, but I only like the movie because for me (and I'm sure a lot of you can relate), the movie gives us someone "real" to be 'Twilight-in-love' with.

I think the host gets more interesting. Keep reading. It took me only a wEek to finish it. You'll like it. Nothing is as good as the Twilight series but The Host was still a great story. I can't wait to see what else Stephenie will come out with.

4500 hello all! I get updates regularly when everyone introduces themselves on my blackberry so I thought it about time to introduce myself. My name is Angee and I used to be an avid reader, and just picked up reading full blown again. I LOVE the Twilight series and get homesick for the characters so I re-read the series... the reason I just picked the first book up again for the 4th time.
In my spare time I take acting classes and am currently writing two books, but get interupted by getting too excited to read other books I've heard about so I put them off again. If you would like to help me by reading and critiquing my first chapter or more... I'd really appreciate it.
Also, I'm a total Twilight addict - I check the news everyday on either MTV (Twilight Tuesdays) or on StephenieMeyer.com or wherever else I can find info.
