And its exactly your approach to self acceptance that we all love. We all reach a point where we stop torturing ourselves over wanting to be a certain weight or size (a la Bridget Jones). I don't start the day by weighing myself and structuring (or trying to anyway) my life around those numbers.
As for Bret Michaels,I totally got sucked into the first season. God only knows why because I didn't even like his music when he was supposedly hot. I loved the way Jes rejected him. Every rose has its thorn indeed. Someone ::had:: to say that.
Wow...thank you for the advice! My youngest is going to turn three and start preschool in the Fall...I know I'll have about (between pick-up/drop-off) 2.5 hours on Tu/Th to Do Something...and I shall...great idea re: babysitting co-op...and thank you for admitting that you have a Support Base to help you...I miss not having my mother and MIL nearby and I'm glad that you are not one of those Gee, I Just Stay Up All Night Willingly Answering My Muse's Call types...I love my sleep, which we mommies do not get enough of as it is...and yes, treat it as a doctor's appointment...::LOVE THAT::!!!
Yes, do share a sample daily schedule...I'd love to write...BUT...between ballet lessons, scouts and potty training????? Not to mention getting over the fear of "who will read this stuff??" Thanks again for doing this!!
Just love your books...As a mom of three, living in the proverbial suburbs, your book 'Goodnight Nobody' hit home...I loved Kate!! Any more sequels in the works??? And oh, I have to add I have passed on more copies of both that book and 'Little Earthquakes'...and everyone ::loved:: them...thanks so much for your writing and allowing us to "chat" with you on goodreads...as for 5 month olds...frozen washcloths and bagels (the unfrozen kind, fresh from the bakery) help teething...words of experience, not wisdom from this mom of 3!
