41720 I always write from a coffee shop. I feel like that is a much better place then writing from home, where there are so many distractions.
Here is an article about the best writing conditions.

I have been wanting to go to Brittany! that is so crazy that you live there. My wife and I want to go for the food and for the alien place, for lack of a better term.

yes he did. I think Amanda Hocking has also sold 1 Million ebooks, or else she has made a million dollars, one or the other. The guy who wrote the book is the number 1 best selling ebook author of all time.

41720 Read, that is the secret weapon. The more you read, the better you write.

41720 The best place to find names for your characters is to go to baby name websites. There they give you names from all around the world and their meaning.

Sarah don't give up! Thats what everyone does. The reason you feel like you can't come up with a new idea is because they have all been done before. You even said it yourself. The trick is, tell an old story in a new way. Stephanie Myers did not invent vampires. Your doing just fine, I promise.
I actually know of a great Facebook page for young female writers. The women gives daily prompts and writing exercise. She also answers any and all writing questions. Young female writers love her. You might want to check her out.

41720 I really liked How I Sold 1 Million eBooks in 5 Months. It got bad press but it does show the nuts and bolts of doing it.

41720 Just write. Thats all there is to it. You can always change it later. Just write because poetry comes from the heart. Don't worry about the rest.

41720 You could have the character get in a fight with another character and not want to be around anymore.
My other question is, do you really need the character in the first place? if your willing to get rid of them, then maybe you don't need them.

41720 This is a great article written by a self-published author. It's all about how we as writers need to stick together and support each other because no one knows how hard is it but us.

41720 Hi All,
My name is Rick and I own a web site dedicated to helping bring the latest news and tips to self-published authors. I thought this would be a great group to join because I love hearing what writers are talking about. Hopefully I will be able to give some good advice as well.
