What did you think of that? Think it would be a good S&L pick? She has a new one called The Highest Frontier.

4170 Fallen Dragon isn't a bad place to start Alex, since it's standalone.

4170 Wow, you got him? That's great. I just wonder how he decides the length of his epic tomes.
4170 It isn't scifi, but I just enjoyed watching Olympia Dukakis play a foul-mouthed old lesbian on Lifetime. :) ("Cloudburst")
4170 I haven't read it, but Melissa Scott's Trouble and Her Friends was reprinted recently. I've also heard Tanith Lee has ventured in those areas. Richard K. Morgan's The Steel Remains features a gay character with some explicit scenes.

4170 If you want a graphic novel, Brian K. Vaughan's Saga is very imaginative.

4170 I assume Clarkesworld and Lightspeed have audio versions of all the nominated short stories.
4170 Sample sounds like Stephen King.

4170 Has anyone read Ironskin? Felicia Day seemed upset by it.
4170 It must be a poltergeist.

4170 He's none too flattering of Locusmag reviews. Honestly I can't tell whether they like a book or not when I read them.
