Lol yeah...young love...Their personalities just seem right for each other. I think Artemis and Holly have friendly competition too. Except at the end when Arty blew it and destroyed their bridge of trust.
Yeah, the author does allude to that, but I don't think it's a very good match. I guess that's just because I like the Artemis-Holly pairing better, but since that can't really progress any further, I'm warming up to Minerva. It just seems to me like she and Artemis are enemies. They try to outdo each other...I don't think it will work for them romantically. But we'll see. I bet Colfer will make it happen, though he doesn't write romances very often.
Yeah, they kissed, but it was kind of a one-time thing. Holly hates Artemis's guts and always will. That was just a time when she showed weakness and they were both particularly vulnerable.
I don't want to give it all away, but it's really good. Yep, it's just called Found, one word. The author is Margaret Haddix, who also wrote the awesome "Shadow Children" series (beginning with Among the Hidden). Found begins when a male teenage character (love them!), who is adopted, tries to find out who his real parents are as he copes with trying to find out "who he really is." He ends up attending an Adoption Conference, and that's where things start going a little weird...That's pretty much all I can tell you without spoiling the suspenseful effects of the book. It's great writing! Haddix is an amazing author. Not as good as Colfer, granted, but still good. I highly recommend it. :) Hope that helps.
((If someone was reading this who had never read AF, they would think all of the events and characters were insane (not just Opal...)))
Really? I liked it. I'm excited for the next book. I thought Found was really interesting how the plot unfolded; it really led up to what the whole series will be about. I also liked how the author approached ideas such as adoption.
I'm so glad! Poor Colfer, though. He must be getting tired of satisfying the demands of AF fans. It probably gets harder and harder to come with new stuff. I wonder if he'll pull a Sir Arthur Conan Doyle: get so fed up with his main character that he kills him off just so he can stop writing about him. (He wrote Sherlock Holmes. His fans were so angry that Holmes died that Doyle was forced to write another book bringing him back. Sad.)
Ok I'll post, though I can't promise it will be very insightful...ummm....
L----Lollipops! Artemis doesn't even like lollipops. Or does he?

I didn't like the graphic novels too much and i like the first one the best and the time para..."
That's exactly how I feel.
Yep! I did too. That's so cool that he is Irish! He is my favorite author, because I not only love the AF series but his other novels too. I think that Colfer is such a great author because he is really good at putting in action, humor, and suspense while also showing circumstances that teach life lessons subtly. I love the fact that no matter how many times you read the books, you can always find something new or a new thing that makes you think.
Haha I like it. It dazzles me. Oooh time travel... I like to think about the possibilities. I like to learn about people's different theories on the subject. Like how Artemis said something about how he doesn't believe time is linear, or how he doesn't believe that you can really change the present by tampering with the past because any changes made in the past are already being manifested. I love it!
