Yes, Holli! I was shocked to see him in that role! I'm starting to wonder who else is going to show up each week!
This is one show I will buy on dvd when the seasons are released. I can only imagine what I'm missing the first time around.
I feel like I'm the kiss of death too, but I think it's just that we are too smart for our own good. It seems all the shows that make you think are the ones that get cancelled. All the shows that spell everything out for everyone (*coughs*CSI) seem to last.
Oh, Holli, I totally agree with you...on both accounts! Brittany is just great for the airhead bit and Puck is yummy, yummy. I feel SO bad for him because he clearly care about Quinn and the baby and he's being brushed aside.
And how about the line where the asian girl pulled a name out of the hat and it said "Other Asian"...too funny
I admit to watching each episode twice because a)I can't get enough and b)there are so many little details I miss the first time around.
They get a box that tracks what is watched. I heard someone say that they went through a lot of trouble to be a "neilsen house" but only had it for 6 months. What good does that do? You'd think that each cable/dish network had some way to track what was being watched/dvr'd.
I'm so sad. I knew it was coming, but still, I'm disappointed to hear the "official" word. It makes me want to never watch a new show again! This happened with Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles. I LOVED that show and they did the renewal only to cancel it anyways. I'm with you Jackie, I'm disgusted with network TV, too.
The way Ted talks in the future, I assumed that Barney and Robin are in his life and in his kids' lives, but not that they are necessarily together in the future. Some parents have their kids call their friends Uncle or Aunt without any relation there.
I was wondering how long their relationship was going to last. Neither of those characters does well with commitment so I was curious to see if it would work out or not. I agree...Barney is more funny without a girlfriend. Next weeks look great...it's all about Barney getting back into dating. "Relationship" Barney and Robin were SO funny!
I saw that book, too. The publisher is not letting on about who the real author is. The book says it's by Richard Castle and it is starring Niki Heat. I just got some birthday money and a coupon for Border's. I'm definitely going to get it. I'll let you all know if it's worth it!
Yes! This has become my favorite show of all time. I absolutely loved the scenes with the teenage girl driving! Every line, every look, absolutely, brilliantly funny.
The whole Boyd-has-some-disturbing-tricks-up-his-sleeve was explained by Adelle when she was talking to Topher. She said that they all had some morally questionable acts in their pasts and that's how they all ended up at Dollhouse. She told Topher that it was his complete lack of morals that got him there. That was a chilling conversation!
I absolutely love this show. Can't wait to see what is in store next!
God is supposed to show up this season. I'm with Pam on the theory that He is the one who brought Cas back. I also think it has something to do with Cas's faith. He has never questioned his faith in God, only the other angels.
Really? Dean doesn't seem the type to "follow". I feel like Cas "fell" because he believed in Dean. That's where I get the impression he is following Dean's plan.
I guess they were making a point about Cas, like Kelley said he is an angel and a soldier. I was just thinking of him as on Dean's side and following Dean more than anything and I was a bit surprised when his non-human side showed. The hairy palm was great. Dean's face! "I got bored and that chic was hot"
I thought the same thing!!!! How funny! I was a bit disappointed the kid didn't go with Sam and Dean. I'm sure we'll see more of him or more like him later. I was a bit surprised by Cas, actually. I didn't think he would do that. I still love him though.
Paris Hilton, decapitated...PERFECT!
I believe it was a preview of the whole season. They have done that in the past.
It's so hard to wait a week for the next episode! I love this show!
I was wondering how they were going to get the brothers back on the same team, so to speak. I'm a bit worried we'll see less of Cas now. I loved him and Dean on the phone and Cas is like, O.K. I'll wait here then. And then poof, Dean is there with him because they "had an appointment". The writers are just so clever! Yes, Myra, Sam was uber creepy in that white suit! And loved that the future Dean was still juggling women.
Very funny episode, Lori. You must find it online. Lots and lots of Barney and all the things that make this show so awesome!
It's a bit awkward seeing them as parents. I'm hoping the kid isn't the main focus every episode. He's school age at least which gives them an excuse to exclude him from scenes.
Yes, Alyson and Alexis are married and the baby is his. :) I saw her on TMZ a little while ago walking in LA with the baby and the camera man made some comment about her Buffy royalties were going to put the kid through college. Alyson laughed and said not even close, more like American Pie royalities! I love How I Met Your Mother. I like Castle a lot too.
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinz Jr just had their baby. I also read that she is officially changing her last name so I'm thinking she might be done acting and will be a full-time mom now. That's just my guess, not something I heard.
Of course, David Boreanaz is on Bones. I can't even see him as Angel anymore because he's been Booth for awhile. James Marsters (Spike) played Brainiac on Smallville for a bunch of episodes. I'd like to see him get back on my tv every week!
It's good to be friends with Joss Whedon!
