4030 My bad, I guess my pick would be for February. I saw that the person between Terri and I had zero posts, so didn't think they would be picking a book.

Looking forward to reading One For Sorrow for January. :)

4030 I think I'm next for January. I'd like to choose Briar Rose by Jane Yolen.

4030 I'm in, I ordered a used copy through Amazon.

4030 I've already read it, but it's a good book. I'm sure people here will enjoy it.

4030 I also wish she had pursued the selkie theme more. It's not a subject that is done often.

4030 I finished reading this last weekend. I thought it was well-written and I liked the selkie theme. On the other hand, the incest was gross and I just couldn't empathize with the main character.

4030 Oh well, guess I was the only one who enjoyed it. I read a couple of books a few years ago by him but didn't like them. But after reading this one, I decided to give his books another try. I ordered his Book of the New Sun books, which are supposed to be some of his best works.

4030 I liked all of the stories, but these were my favorites...The Waif, The Legend of Xi Cygnus, The Wrapper, and Queen.

4030 Oh I see. Maybe there was some confusion about the listopia list and the bookshelf here.

4030 I see it's on the listopia list, if that's what you mean.

I think listopia has been having some bugs lately, I tries to create a new list this morning but had trouble adding books to it.

4030 I started reading Innocents Aboard yesterday, and I'm about halfway through. So far I'm enjoying the stories. I like the blend of myth and the supernatural that he involves in his storylines.

4030 Sounds good, I'm in.

4030 I started a listopia list on best mythic fiction. I thought it would be fun if we all could add books and vote for our favorites on it.

4030 I'll join. I ordered some books from bookcloseouts last night, and they had Innocents Aboard available.

4030 I've already read Mortal Love, but I may give Innocents Abroad a try. I've read a couple of his books....Peace and Wizard-Knight. To be honest I wasn't too impressed by them, but I keep hearing he's a good writer and maybe they weren't his best.

4030 I read it a few months ago. I thought it was a great read.
