We haven't met the fairy king because he is DEAD! and it couldn't be a weather giant because they're HUGE and that guy can't leave his part of the dragon sanctuarry.So i think they will raise the fairy king from the dead and then the male faires you see behind him will come back to life too.
I beleive it is the fairy king but not Peton.

its not frekin warren. He's trapped in 3 dimensional space. And the fairy king could come back to life since anything is possible in a story so i think your wrong.

He would have to look much more evil and wear like black armor or something.

I believe that it is the fairy king brought back to life. Espically with all of the gold faires flying behind him and since he has fairy wings.
