I was looking for some advice for a good young adult stand alone or series on werewolves for an 11 year old. She is a little advanced and has read Twilight and is in the process of reading the Vampire Diaries, but she is partial to the wolves. I just don't want anything too romantic or steamy. Someone suggested Moonlight (#1 of the Dark Guardien Series) but all the talk of Soul Mate stuff just seems a bit much for me to give an 11 year old...any thoughts???
I think the terrible movie adaptation may have helped make the books seem not so appealing...

Thanks Lara! I think I will try the first in the Fever series first (well after I read the books I already have that I haven't gotten to yet...LOL) Though I love the romance aspect, I do like it to be a bit more secondary to the magic,suspense, and mystery portion of the book.

OK, so I hadn't heard of this series, though I think I have seen the author since I work part time at a Borders. Now you all have me wanting to check it out!! Is her Highlander series good as well? That seems interesting too!
AH...I couldn't wait for April to start, now I have been too busy to even read :( So So Sad. I will be lucky if I get 2 books done this month :(

Hi All. I need some help with this series. I honestly cannot remember if I read the second book or just the first. It is is killing me because I don't have the second book in my bookself, but I thought I read it so I may just be loosing my mind. Can some one give me some plot hightlights from the second book (without giving too much away) so I can determine if I did infact read it?
