I want my copy of LOVER ENSHRINED! Whaaaaaa!
I'll have to wait for mine being in the UK. Urgh.
I'm so happy everyone is enjoying it though.
These books are my literary crack. I love them desperately despite thier many flaws and they are legion. But how can you not love manly vampires dressed in skin tight leathers, kicking ass at night while deep down inside they are the biggest, soppy, romantic louts ever to grace the planet? I love them all. But Butch and V are my fav with Z coming in a close second.
Just finished 'The Darkest Kiss' from Gena SHowalter and really liked it. In the midle of slogging through Book 4 of Keri Arthur's Riley Jensen but I have to say Quinn is sucking all the fun out of the book for me.I have the first Kresley Cole sitting waiting and the first Karen Chance along with Alyssa Day's first
Atlantis book. Also I have the first two of Illona Andrews new series and some Jayne Castle, Richelle Mead, Kim Harrison and Toni Andrews.
Which do you guys recommend first...or should I re-read my BDB's again until Phury's book is released?
What about Jennifer Rardin's Jaz Parks series. Starts with Once Bitten...not a lot of sex but plenty of romance and action.
Nalini Singh can also write a mean love scene.I recently read a couple of PR from Annmarie McKenna and while I enjoyed them, some of the 'love' scenes were a little too blunt for my liking and I started subbing my own words cause she used the same three fricking words time and time again. That said, they were still pretty hot.
At the moment for me, it's JR Ward's Black Dagger Brtherhood series. Man, I can't get enough of those brothers. I am so with Murrrmaiyd. I am so there on release day for that book. June 5th can't come frickin' quick enough for mr.Other obessions have been at one point...
Meljean Brooks guardian series. These are seriously fantastic books. Terrible covers though. Eck! I feel so sorry for her sometimes. To have her fantastic books wrapped in such awful crap.
Nalini Singh's Psy/Changeling series. I love me an alpha male. Oh yes.
Marjorie M Lui and her Dirk & Steele series. No one can make inst-o-matic falling in love seem more natural than Marjorie. And there is always something going on.
And although it's not strictly PR I love me a little Harry Dresden so Jim Butcher has to go on the list as well.
For me it's Meljean Brook every time. Not too flowery but not to blunt either. And it's never the same twice. Her guys have got moves! :)
Hey all, new to the group but just wanted to add my two pennies in.
I have recently made a move to paranormal romance from urban fantasy too and the three authors that have stood out for me are Nalini Singh and her Psy/Changeling series, Marjorie M Liu and her DIrk & Steele series and Meljean Brook and her Guardians series.
Although I think being part of this group is seriously going to put a dent into my bank account. I have already made a few choice purchases from the recommendations above.
Anyone else read Jennifer Rardin and her Jaz Parks serie? Not a huge amount of romance but they are just too good.
