Just started Dark Possession by Christine Feehan. Loving it so far, I'm happy to be back in that world.
I read 2 good ones in the last couple of days. Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs, and Into the Flame by Christina Dodd. I love it when a book I'm looking forward to is as good as I'm hoping it will be.
I just finished Timeless Moon by CT Adams and Cathy Clamp and Turbulant Sea by C. Feehan.
I liked Timeless Moon more than I thought I would. I wasn't that interested in the main character, but it turned out to be a "reunion" type book and I love those. I liked Turbulant Sea,I've always liked Joley and it was a good story.
New user, I liked shadows a lot, I'm impatient for the next one now. I'm glad we don't have to wait a year for it!
Who is your favorite character in Viehl's books? Did you hear that the Robin Hood is going to be the last in the series? I hope that he's your favorite character.
Recently finished Into the Shadow by Christina Dodd. It's the one about Arick the brother they thought had died. It was good, I just wish there had been more of the brother's reunion. Can't wait for the next one now.
I just finished Darkest Pleasure by Grna Showalter. It's the third in her Lords of the Underworld series. I've liked this series and I liked the way they put out 3 in a row. Now we have to wait until 2009 for the next one.
Jael, I'm with you, I think Gideon is hilarious. I'm also with you on being sad that the Darkyn series is ending. I hope her new series is para romance. I haven't read her sci/fi stuff, it's probably good but I need the romance.
I'm reading Damien by J.Frank right now. It's good but she's a little wordy for me.
Just finished Twilight Fall by Lynn Viehl, the latest in the Darkyn series. It was very good as usual. I'm sad to hear that the next book will be the last in the series.
I just finished Running Wild by Sarah McCarty. It's an anthology with 3 stories about werewolves who end up with 3 sisters. I liked the book and I think there will be more in the series.
I just finished The Undead Next Door by Kerrelyn Sparks. I liked it a lot and now get to find her earlier books and read them.
I just finished Darkest Kiss and ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would. It started slow but got me hooked after a while. I'm really looking forward to the book about Paris. Any idea when it's coming out?
Jael, I hope you end up liking it. I loved the first book and just started the second last night. It was too easy for me to put it down. I'm hoping that changes.
I just finished Dead Girls are Easy by Terri Garey. The sequel is coming out next month so I thought I should read this one so I'd know if I want to buy the next one. It was a little light on the romance but I liked it.
I just finished The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter. It's the first of a new trilogy or series. I liked it a lot. Also read Angel of Mercy by Toni Andrews. It was more urban fantasy than para romance but a good book.
Finished Lover Enshrined. I liked it more than I did V's book. I think because I knew going in that it wasn't a romance. I still don't like that she switched to UF halfway through the series, but this time I was prepared. I'll keep going with this series, but not with the same excitment and I won't be buying them in hardcover.
Nalini Singh's Psi/Changling series
JR Ward's BDB
JD Robb's In Death
Feehan's all
Lynsay Sand's Argenau series
Kresley Cole IAD
Shiloh Walker's Hunters
Lora Leigh's Breeds
I don't think it's fair to the author. I read a different review of a paranormal by a reader who didn't like para's. She said "Well if you want to believe there are witches and vampires all around you..." I thought "Well I do while I'm reading this book." I don't think you can do a real review of a genre you don't like.
I just finished Dark Needs at a Night's Edge by Kresley Cole. I wasn't sure what to expect because AAR gave it a D, but I liked it. The lady who did the review hadn't read any of the other books in the series, she thought the whole world was too complicated. I wonder who picks who reviews which books.
