I don't think it was true love but the way it happened was what got to me, which is why the first book will always be the one I can honestly say I liked all the way until the end.

Reading Touch of Madness after just finishing At Grave's End. Not that far in yet so I can't say what I like or not but the first book was decent. I think I love red-headed characters best!
new_user wrote: "I think Jacob's intro as a love interest is what made me like the series so much, LOL."His intro as a love interest annoyed me, honestly. She was totally rebounding! I kept peeking to see when Edward reappeared.

Jess wrote: "How do you like At Grave's End Ranata?"I'm not done yet but so far, so good. Not one of my favorites in the series but it's pretty decent. So far it gets a 4 star.
Reading At Grave's End and I'm almost done. I think I'll be moving on to either finishing Moon Called or Touch of Madness. We'll see. I haven't been reading as much as before.
I couldn't finish Dead Witch Walking. I don't like Rachel. I like everybody BUT Rachel. It was like that for me with Twilight too. I liked everybody, even the bad guys but I didn't like Bella. I read to see what eloquent words would flow out of his mouth so maybe I'll read Dead Witch Walking for Jenks and the living vampire chick. I still don't get WTF that is about. Explain someone?

I saw 2 episodes before I had to go to work and I liked this show a lot. I never like werewolve shows!
Not bad. Not bad at all. I'm looking forward to season 2 because I liked Living Dead In Dallas better than the first one. A lot more action and info about Vampires! And we get to see more of the Fellowship of the Sun. Will Jason turn against Sookie? Why, yes I think he would! LOL
I really enjoyed the books when I read them a couple of months ago, but as more time passes and I get distance from my initial impressions, my opinion is changing... instead of giving them 5 stars (with the exception of Breaking Dawn which shall stay at its measley 3-stars and be thankful it is getting that many!), I'm thinking I really should change them to 4-stars.Theresa, this is how I feel about the series now. They were not as great as I once thought they were. I was all over them last year but I've read stuff that had so much more.
I am not going to see the movie. I'll watch it on HBO. LOL. I'm already negative about it considering I hate the actors with the exception of Carlisle and Esme and Charlie and even Jacob. Kirsten is okay but that's cuz I like her anyway. I feel like its' going to be an epic fail but I could be wrong.
Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris because you have a heroine that's around you age, living a life much like yours except these telepathic and gets involved in a lot more than she bargained for when she starts dating a vampire. Vampires came out of the "closet" 2 years ago and Sookie's finding out other things exist as well. It's a great read. The heroine isn't cheesy and if you like the books, you'll love the show too. It's called True Blood.
Nichole, I hated the very, very end of OFITG as well. I was like WTF?? It's like "they all skipped off into the sunset".Everything else was great though!
She's independent in a mature for her age type of independence. She can make dinner for herself and get herself off to school but when it came to independence away from Edward, she couldn't do that. She proved she was immature in the aspect of she knew him a few months and whenhe left, she suddenly couldn't take that and needed to fill his spot with whomever. Independence in one scenario does not equate to independence in all scenarios of life.
Joseph, some people don't like used books or to have to read the book on a deadline (3 weeks and if it's late, there's a fee). I used to work at the library for about 3 years and some of the books were gross to open. I don't want to be reading over someone else's encrusted boogers, personally, so that could be the deal with traceyellen.
Touch of Dark started pretty strong to me. I liked it and it did get a little confusing but if you can get past the first 100, you'll get into, I think. I was confused on what the hell a ward was, WTF a war mage was and why the hell the counsel wanted her in the first place. But again, I kept going and started to like it. Now with Claimed by Shadow, stuff was happening so quickly and I was sick with the flu so I couldn't enjoy it. I'll give it a second try because Cassie seems like a cool character. Give it another shot!
