Amelia, truthfully, you might be able to get through all 4 (or 2 as its been condensed into 2 volumes) books in maybe like 3 days.between the reading level, and the BIG HUGE print, its nothing too crazy....or read them at a later date.
I'm just really looking forward to this show cause it'll be something to commit to until season 3 of True Blood starts up again (I watch little tv anymore, and truly only watch like one show per season).

It's a shame really, regarding Bill, cause Stephen Moyer is quite handsome, but the Bill makeup is looking quite decrepit and gross
when Jason says "people like me cause of my sex abilities"...hahahaha...still laughing over that one.As for the blood bond thing, if perhaps Sookie actually gets to thinking without actually hurting herself, she might just might realize that that's also what helped lead to her and Bill getting together in the first place (obvious blood exchange in Season 1-episode 2).
this may have been the best episode ever...and I'm not saying that just cause we got a glimpse of nakey Eric..lol

I saw the paint splatter on his chest in one of the preview clips they had afterwards...so yeah, looked like a paintball gun to me too

As an intro to the series, I thought Wrath's story was good, and as a character, the change in him once he found his "mate" was unexpected and somewhat weird to me, till I came to learn that its the nature of their species...fine, I'm accepting of it now...after that though, I've been much more intrigued by the other characters... I loved Rhage more than Wrath, and I liked Butch alot too, but I feel like I've been waiting for V all my life..er, I mean this series...lol
yeah, he's pretty much awesome...I was reading the Butch/Marissa book (sorry, but I truly can't keep the book names in my head), and just loved that there was so much about V in there, and I couldn't wait to finish with it and get on to his own book . . .
RE: Arlene, I completely agree... I just wish more screen time was dedicated to the pretty vampires :)
I'm actually a huge Richelle Mead fan (her succubus series and the Dark Swan) but I've never read any Vampire Academy...there is just too much out there to read....and not enough time!

Nope, just the Vampire Diaries, I was looking for something to sooth my Twilight addiction, and wanted a break from the PNR I had been devouring...so having heard that it was going to be on tv soon, I downloaded them to my phone and read them.
Thanks for the warning on Nightfall, but Nightworld looks pretty good, and the new, shiny, pretty covers just make me want tospend money whenever I'm at Barnes&Nobles...lol
I read the Vampire Diaries earlier this year, I think the overall premise is good, the writing was pretty terrible, but I'm so excited for the show to start.
who is really bothered by Arlene...I mean she's so fitting the part for the show, but everytime we get a close up of her on the screen, I'm just like "EWWWW"
I'm going to attempt my hardest to follow through with this...these are my choices so far :)Romance - Lover Enshrined

oh...I just read it last week...I love Queen Betsy... I think she's fantastic :)
I'm throwing in the towel after 6 books...I had too many weddings and things going on this month.
I looked at the Merry Gentry book on my list last night read about 5 pages then promptly passed out.
This morning I decided to read a book not on my challenge list.
I couldn't wait any longer...just started In the Blood after having it on my shelf for nearly two months....Dante Dante Dante!
