Rachel, is the Innkeeper series finished?

390 I'm thinking about starting this series, but I'm wondering if anyone knows how many books are planned for the series? I hate starting series that aren't finished. I've googled, but I haven't been able to find anything about how many books will be in the series. Thanks!

Is the fae chronicles complete? It sounds really good!

390 I'm looking for a new series to read. I prefer series that are finished and where the main characters are the same throughout the series. I'm looking for something with a badass heroine. Maybe a vampire hunter, assassin, or something. I really liked The Hollows, Fever, Night Huntress, Sabina Kane, Mercy Thompson, and Riley Jensen. I liked the first few books in Chicagoland, but then it started to get boring. Thanks!

390 Finally! I'm reading book 8 (black magic sanction) and it finally tells you what happens when you have sex with a witch. You girls were right. I can't believe she mentions it in book 3, but you don't get an explanation until book 8!

On a side note, book 8 is my favorite so far!

Does it explain that in a different book or did I miss it? I just finished book 4. My friend just finished book 3 and she didn't get it either.

390 The only thing I remember was that she can't have kids with a human. That was in book 2 so I'd have to check to see if there was anything else.

390 Here is what really annoys me about her writing. In book 3 chapter 21 *spoiler alert* when she's having sex with Kisten, she asks him if he has ever had sex with a witch before. He says I know what I'm getting myself into. She says I didn't want you to be surprised. So this makes the reader assume there is something odd that happens when you have sex with a witch, but nothing happened! Maybe I missed it or maybe it's explained in the next chapter?? I fell like she mentions things, but never explains them. It seems like she just assumes you know.

390 So I finished book 2 yesterday. I liked it a lot better than the first. The only thing I think is missing is a good love story. Nick and her just all of sudden started dating and there's no fun to their relationship. I do see some potential with other characters of the book though. :) No spoilers please!

390 It's something about the writing that makes it difficult for me to follow. I don't always get a clear picture in my head. I think it's partly because she talks about things like you should already know the world. I will stick with it though.

390 I started reading Dead Witch Walking. I'm only a chapter into it, but I'm having a really hard time following it. She keeps mentioning things that I have no idea what she is talking about. Does it get easier to follow?

390 Thanks everyone!!

390 It depends on how much it's recommended by others and if it has good reviews. I will pay more if it comes recommended or has really good reviews. If I feel like I'm taking more of a risk, then I won't pay much for it.

390 I normally read books about vampires, but after watching season 1 of Witches of East End I'm wanting to read something that mainly focuses on witches. I know that the show is based on a book series, but the series reviews are mixed. Any recommendations on a really good series about witches?

390 I have several series that I want to reread, but the only book/series that I have reread is Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead. LOVE that series!

390 I agree that Ward has way to many stories going on. Especially in the last book. And I'm not a fan of BOB vs BDB either.

I think I like the buildup to the relationship more than the actual relationship and that's why I'm not really excited about The King. Wrath and Beth are already together.

390 Definitely my kindle! I tend to read for long periods of time and my hands will hurt with an actual book.

390 Is anyone else disappointed with who the next BDB book is about? Wrath and Beth already have their own book! I want to read about Assail, Trez, Xcor, and Lassiter! Now it's going to be 2 years before one of them gets their own book. :(

390 I just finished Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park. It was ok. I found it highly predictable though.
