I so agree I love his historical stuff way more than the suspense novels.

38738 Having to wait till October is gut wrenching...but then I'm sure it will be worth it.

38738 Man have to wait until September? Oh the agony.I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I guess I will just have to eliminate some of my tbr pile before September so that I can focus on the new Follett novel

38738 My tbr pile just keeps going never ending pile. Once I read one it seems I add another one to it.

38738 sounds like this one going to be good..it is my tbr pile and its nearing the top pretty fast thing only 3 or 4 more books to go before I get to it..

38738 Neither did I till someone mentioned that this book used the book "Rebecca" as a reference..That scared me a little becaues even though I have heard of the book "Rebecca" I have never read it and really had no intentions on doing so. Glad that it is not used as a reference so much that I could not read this book without reading the other first, for it saved me a lot of wasted time reading a book I would not enjoy.

38738 So I can read this without reading Rebecca and still be able to follow along and not wonder what I'm reading? Maybe I can skip reading Rebecca (Not really my kind of book anyway) and still be able to understand.

38738 Not as of yet I am currently reading a monster of a book (which I did not realize until I picked it up from the library) "Under the Dome" by Stephen King. Once I am finished with that I am going to read "A Key to Rebecca"

38738 I was thinking of reading this as my next Ken Follett novel, but I guess I will read Rebecca first so that I can get in on the references from the get go.

38738 I am currently reading this book and am loving it...another page turner from Ken Follett. The first books I read from this author where Pillars of the Earth, World without end, and the fall of giants..which were all very good 5 stars so I had to read some of his other works and this is the first and I have not been disappointed yet.

38738 But it was so good you lugged it around and endured the pain anyway right? lol

38738 I devoured this book when it came out. It was the first book I bought for my e-reader. Considering how large the book was this was the perfect solution. I didn't have to lug around that heavy book. I would have anyway because it was so good. To bad we have to wait until next year for the second part to be realeased. I would so love to be reading it right now!
