Not at all Diana :) We're all entitled to our opinion --at least in this group we are (lol!) There are some heroes I totally hate and other people love. If I read the original Whitney My Love at 12 I think I'd have been marked for life to hate that hero too (!).
Diana wrote: "I can't believe this a discussion about jerky alpha males and no has mentioned Clayton Westmoreland from "Whitney, My Love". He was an incredible psycho, I thought. If he wasn't raping the heroin..."LOL Diana! I liked Clayton, he was "intense" --but I did read the reissue and not the original where he's apparently portrayed some what differently. I loved the ending of that book :)
Well Glory in Death didn't have enough romance so I'm hoping things will spice up with Jaci Burton's Dare To Love.

"I personally loved this book, she really is a very thought provoking writer."
Her writing is very vivid that's for sure.
Does anyone know of a website that indicates if an English book has been translated into other languages?
Stephanie wrote: "Ohhh East you are going to really like these books! "So far so good Stephanie :D I'm a sucker for a guy with an accent so Bones is my man right now (lol!)
That Enoch book turned out to be a dud which is weird because pretty much everything I've read by her has been 4 stars plus. Now I'm reading David Ebershoff's The 19th Wife A Novel.
I've never read anything by this Preston guy but yeah gruesome medical stuff seems to cover it. I'll have to check out Robin Cook.
Can anyone recommend books/authors similar in theme to Richard Preston's The Hot Zone A Terrifying True Story or The Cobra Event?
Well that Guhrke book turned out to be fantastic! Now I'm trying to finish up Enoch's Griffin family series with Something Sinful.

LOL! It's true those Greek guys are always gazillionaires in the books.
NU you'd think that these are smart people writing so the smart person would ask a native speaker or at least someone who knows the language instead of writing stuff that makes no sense. It never ceases to amaze me that this is rarely the case :-/
