Hey everyone!

I just jumped in on the conversation and thought it might be best to stop lurking and actually introduce myself. A recent Chicago transplant now living in Missouri, I've recently been dreaming about moving away from my web and graphic design work to a more tangible, handcrafted business, and soapmaking seems to be at the top of my list of possibilities.

Actually, while I'm babbling about it, maybe one of you might know the answer to this: what's the advantage of using the cold process for soap if the hot process is so much faster? Any advice would be much appreciated :)
