3551 I'll be reading it today. My husband is a huge fan of the series, too, so he bought it early yesterday morning. Since I wasn't about to buy two, he read a big chunk of it yesterday and I get it today...since he's at work : ) I'm not going to complain, since this is the series that really got him reading again!

3551 Sara - I adore epistolary novels, too, so I have little doubt that I will enjoy S&C.

3551 Sara - Regarding Sorcery and Cecelia, I'm looking forward to that one, too. It seems to be a combination of Harry Potter and Jane Austen, which are my absolute favorites.

3551 I can't wait until The Last Olympian comes out! I read all of the Percy Jackson books that were available recently and I'm really interested to see how the story ends. I'll be picking it up Tuesday for sure.

3551 Like Sara, I've got to finish a few books that I've started, too. I'll be joining you as soon as I can. I'm looking forward to it!

3551 I agree with Lisa completely, but I'm a bit leary of letting my 8-year-old son read them right now. These books get quite violent, and oftentimes it's for little reason. He'd probably be fine with the material, but I think we'll still wait a bit.

3551 Angie - Also, it looks like you get 6 cards in each book.

3551 I just bought the first three 39 Clues books this morning and I'm really looking forward to them. I'm a big National Treasure fan, as well.

3551 Luke giving the flying shoes to Percy was a big tip-off that Luke was the friend who would betray him.

3551 Angie - The Demigod Files should be read after The Battle of the Labyrinth, if you want to avoid any spoilers for The Last Olympian.

3551 I've really been enjoying this series! I actually got my husband into it, which is no small feat (he's done with the series already, and anxiously awaiting The Last Olympian). I've just started the fourth book, The Battle of the Labyrinth, which looks promising. I'd have to say that, so far, The Lightning Thief was my favorite, followed closely by The Titan's Curse, and then The Sea of Monsters, and The Demigod Files (I shouldn't have read this before BotL, but it didn't spoil anything until the last short story).

3551 That sounds interesting, Anna. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the book, too. I will be reading the adult version for a book club at work. I'm looking forward to it!
